I have given this place so many chances since it was last bought out many years ago. We have three Mexican restaurants in our town and this is the absolute worst. Worst food, worst service and it can get loud. Our server today was absent, served other tables that were seated after us. Failed to check on us. I had to flag her down several times. She was more concerned about exchanging her number with teen boys behind us than doing her job. Items cam out wrong. Then I went to a near by business afterwards and expressed my disappointment only to be informed that the owner was out of town, and when he is the service is horrible. We'll, between a horrible mother's day with sugar in red sauce instead of salt, and over and over and over again bad food and service. Im done. I've never had an issue with Altos or Hola. Never. This place shouldn't be in business.

Really good food. Best salsa and chips we've ever had. Loved the vibe of the place.
Food is good. One of our favorite Mexican places to eat.

The bill they give you is just numbers. No description. From what I can tell, there is a tip surcharge on there already, but of course they won’t tell you that, but they still have a place to write in even more tip.
So it’s an auto one star scam shop.
PS: I would have tipped more if they hadn’t done that.
Food is mediocre

Submitted a reservation online for the next day (Tuesday) for 18 people and called to confirm shortly after to ensure it went through and explain what the reservation was for and that we were hoping to get a long table all together. They said that they could definitely accommodate that.
Arrived at our reserved time to find out that they gave away our table when they got busy. No apologies or anything. Had to wait 15 minutes for them to get something set up for us and it ended up being two separate 8 top tables. As we started to sit down I said we wanted to be at a long table together not separated like this but they couldn’t accommodate that. I also mentioned how we needed TWO MORE CHAIRS. From there the service was poor. Our server took our food and drink order and didn’t take the other tables order for over 15 minutes. Our food arrived in what I thought was a reasonable time but then the other table in our party had to wait 45 minutes for their meal! Our waiter never came and checked on us after we got our food and later tried to take my plate away as I was still eating. I’ve literally never felt compelled to write a restaurant a review but I was so disappointed in the way they handled our party and the fact that they gave our table away. Nobody ever apologized to us at all for the inconvenience. Will not be returning.

Overall solid Mexican food. I've been there numerous times. My favorite dish is the vegetable fajitas.
I do not recommend the house margaritas or the sopapilla. We've occasionally had small issues, such as a meal being cold or slow service, but those are the exceptions, not the norm.

Outstanding in every meaningful regard. Dozens of delicious dishes (the Popeye chicken is addictive), quick, friendly and attentive service, and excellent value for your dollar. Busy most of the time (for good reason!) but they have a huge number of seats so there's rarely a wait.

My husband and I travel a lot and eat in different restaurants and have been to a few here, Camilas has got to be the worst restaurant, their food was disgusting!! Paid almost $100.00 for something so disgusting. Do better Camilas!

Food and staff are always fantastic! We moved an hour away and frequently make the trip back as camilas can’t be beat!

We ordered an enchiladas suizas plate. I said if there's any beans put them on the side, because of allergies. The gal said yeah no problem. And before giving me a total i hear her giggling then phone went mute and she hung up.
The enchiladas were smothered with refried beans and a ton of cilantro. I told the manager what was going on. I thought everything was going fine until he said he would give us a credit for a free meal when we come back in at a later time. I said we're not coming back after they messed up like this the last time and my partner can't even eat any of this. He just hung up then wouldn't answer when i called back.
I was polite the whole time. We just don't want to end up having a la medical emergency, and apparently the manager doesn't care about that. The emotional immaturity of this manager not only reflects badly upon himself, but also the restaurant that he represents.
The food is really good and would compliment all of the cooks. It's not their fault. The manager said counter gal must have written down the beans on the side wrong. She told me no problem. And she speaks perfect English. But this isn't the first time it's happened at this place specifically. Our order was incorrect the last four times. One of those times, the remade order was also incorrect.
I hate leaving a bad review, but I've never ever had to complain about Mexican food or restaurant, but there are plenty around the area that have always given perfect food and service. But we ordered from here because they have the masita that's so good, but it ain't that good to chance having to deal with a medical emergency, incorrect orders, or rude staff.

Started bad and kept getting worse. Their website accepts reservations but they will tell you when you get there, they dont take reservations. Our waitress, Jocelyn, was rude, unprofessional, and had an attitude the size of the restaurant. The drinks were empty more than they were full and we had to go to the bar to ask for water. It took 45 minutes for her to get around to taking our orders and another 45 minutes to receive our COLD food. She proceeded to blame the kitchen for it taking so long but it obviously sat somewhere for quite some time. When asked for a refill Jocelyn told us she didn't even know what we were drinking and rolled her eyes. We hardly saw her all evening. Despite being cold, the food tasted okay but I don't think we will come back. Much better restaurants to choose from with way better service.

We frequently come to Camila's. Tonight's visit was likely the last! The service has been getting worse over the last few visits. I understand things are busy. Tonight was the worst ever. We waited 20 minutes for drinks. The food finally arrived at our table 40 minutes in. The food was cold. We sent it back. It came back cold. I told the waitress I was unhappy and then she just dodged our table. I asked another waiter for the check. He apologized for the cold food and delivered our check. If you enjoy cold food and sub par service, I highly recommend Camila's if you want a sub par dining experience!

The wait time was unacceptable. We were completely ignored for 30 minutes and didn't even have our drinks ordered. This is not acceptable service, especially on a busy night when the staff should be trained to handle the volume.
The lack of acknowledgement was incredibly frustrating. No one even made eye contact, and when I tried to flag down a server, I was ignored. This shows a fundamental problem with service at your location.
I was offered no apology that included some kind of attempt to make it right which further proved the unprofessionalism in the service we received.
I highly recommend the other Camillas in Pacific as they provide great service. I hope that you will train and educate this location so that other customers are not faced with a bad dining experience like the one we had.
