Absolutely love this nice little place! My mother and I visited for the first time and thought why we hadn't been here more often. Walking inside, it is like a cozy but elegant Tuscany feel with darker wood tones and brick tile floor. The menu is upper scale soup, salad, and sandwiches mainly. They also have breakfast options. We ordered the BLTs. I had the full sandwich with peppered bacon and house chips. My mother had the choose two with a Caesar salad and half sandwich. The server was kind and friendly. It was just a really nice place I'd love to visit again. Great little bar as well. It would be a good place for a small work lunch or after work social hour. Love it, thank you!

Beware!!! Horrible customer service- and failed to deliver a catering order !! Tried to work it out and company unwilling to assist.I never write negative reviews - but found this company to be less than satisfactory.

First time here and I really enjoyed this place. I sat at the bar and ordered 2 egg breakfast with ham and wheat toast. Everything was cooked perfectly and was delicious. The surprise was the ham. It had a smoky flavor which was excellent. My server was very friendly and delivered great service. This is a cozy restaurant and lucky for me I just missed the morning rush (I arrived at 10am). I’ll be back.

Wife and I stopped here for lunch on a road trip after passing through St. Louis. Needed something other than fast food. Nice, smaller cafe that seats about 40. Full bar, though we didn’t partake. Service was great. Both our sandwiches were tasty. But the Gooey Butter dessert was the icing on the cake. We’d never heard of it and it was great. Parking downtown is limited. We’d definitely stop again if the occasion arises.

Definitely do not go to this "restaurant" not worth even a penny. Owner was acting entitled about a 2 year old walking up his staircase. Keep your distance from this place. Oh and the food is not good, but the service was worse.

Do Not Eat here! I have no idea what happened here today. I travel extensively and have been to numerous restaurants across the states. I will say the food I was served here today was probably made by a 6 year old. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and was excepting to enjoy a nice breakfast. What I was served had zero visual appeal, the English muffin was dry, the sliced ham looked like it came out of a Oscar Myer package, the eggs were overcooked having hard yolks, topped with paprika not a hollandaise sauce and it was completely flavorless. (I met a friend there and they bought breakfast or I would have definitely said something.) This was absolutely the "worst breakfast" I've ever been served. Very disappointed!

Stopped by on 10/14/23. The food was so good we came back on the 15th. This is going to be a must stop place whenever we are in town.

The staff was really friendly, and the food was divine! You could tell the bread for each dish was homemade. Absolutely delicious. My husband’s hamburger was so so good, and the fries were in the top five fries we’ve ever had. So crispy and just fried, glorious goodness. There were three of us that all got different things, and we all raved about each dish. And we were impressed with the prices! HIGHLY recommend. We will for sure be back!

I'd avoid the "ribeye" which was very thin and more like fajita meat. The Chicken Michelle I think it was called lacked flavor but wasn't inedible. The staff seemed fairly busy and overwhelmed but everyone was friendly! We enjoyed the salad and cherry cobbler (more like a dump cake than cobbler which was a plus for me) though!

We came to Michelle's to try a new place for breakfast, and I gotta say we regret our decision. We walked up thinking good things with the Everyone Welcome sign in the front window. Truly, we were excited to see that. Very hopeful walking in and seeing only 1 table occupied and the rest completely empty and plenty of staff waiting around to help. We were seated immediately. However, from there on, the rest of our visit was pretty disappointing. After we ordered our food and received our drinks, we all noticed our drinks tasted odd. My pepsi had a funky taste. My wife's water, my daughters' lemonade, all of us agreed just kinda off tasting. We all asked for something different, but the same problem was still there the drinks tasted funky. Despite being in an empty restaurant, our food took 40 minutes to arrive from the time we ordered it. No explanation, no apology from our waitress, just as we were getting ready to get up and leave because of the wait, our food finally arrived. Starving at this point, we were excited once again. Only to be let down completely by the food. It was for 4 out of 5 of us, basically inedible. 2 orders of pancakes that were bland and rubbery. French toast, done with some thin wheat cinnamon bread that was so dry, even with butter and syrup on it, it was awful. The stuffed biscuit was so bland that I almost appreciated the burnt biscuit for at least some flavor, and the scrambled eggs that came with were so rubbery I'm convinced they microwaved them. I'll chalk it up to a bad day for them, but it was bad enough for us, we agreed we would not come back again.
