Exzellent bacon toasted cheese Sandwich

The owner was awesome and took time out to talk to us. Great drinks and sandwiches.

I liked the Reuben, lots of tvs, food was served fast and I was treated with care.

I frequent this establishment very little, but the food is never disappointing.

Tonight, I brought my kids to try the boneless wings, and they thoroughly enjoyed them.

The service was abysmal, however. One server took our drink orders, and came back with Dr. Pepper x 2 (instead of 3), Water x 1 (which no one ordered), and 1 x unsweet tea, which was correct.

I told the server, she went OK, and next thing I know, we had a replacement server, our orders were taken, and I still didn’t have my Dr. Pepper.

Once our food arrived, guess whose order wasn’t brought out correctly? I had ordered the Wing Special with boneless wings, and out came bone-in wings. The new server was extremely apologetic, but I still had to wait another 10 minutes or so for my food, while my family wanted to let their own meals go cold while waiting for mine, which I didn’t want them doing.

I’m not sure what went wrong tonight in the kitchen and with staff, but it was extremely disappointing.

The wait staff seemed to be running too much for the amount of customers. Our waitress kind of kept dismissing us. But food was good.

I've been here tons of times, and over the last year, the wings have been a hit or miss. We asked for the wings to be extra wet, and they came out bone dry. Tried calling to come back up, and they put us on hold for 20 minutes, so we decided to drive back up. When we got there, we walked in and saw that they were purposefully ignoring our call since we were still on hold while we returned to the restaurant. Another time, we called for a pick up order and got to the restraunt 15 minutes past the time they told us to be there. I ended up waiting for an additional 30 minutes, 45 minutes past their predicted timeline. They said sorry and I left with the food. Their burgers are really good, by the way. It's best when you call for a pickup to call back and see if your food is ready. Lastly, their ranch is literally the best ranch I've ever had.

Good food, casual atmosphere.

Woah, I think the wings starred in the movie "Honey I shrunk the (wings)". They were Barbie small, same size now as Mulligans. I guess both restaurants have switched vendors to save money. Super disappointed.

Poor Richards is a great family restaurant with many food options. The wings are the best in the St. Louis area, hands down. The wait and bar staff and courteous, friendly, and very attentive. Pricing is competitive and there’s an arcade area for the little ones.

Sllloooooowww. Okay food but plan to spend the entire evening. If you order takeout add 30 min to whatever they tell you

We’ve been coming to Poor Richard’s for a very long time. It’s where my wife & I went on our very first date after going sledding at Art Hill back in January 2011 (and we had both been many times prior to that date). Recently the service has gone way down hill. 2 of the last 3 times we’ve ordered carry out my wife’s cheese burger which was supposed to be well done was medium rare at best (very pink when there was supposed to be no pink at all). The last time I put a ton of emphasis on WELL DONE for her burger (but sadly did not bother checking the box before I left the restaurant as I thought “surely they won’t mess anything up a 3rd time in a row, right? Wrong….) Got home to a well done burger WITHOUT ANY GARNISH AND THEY FLAT OUT FORGOT TO PUT FRIES IN THE BOX?!?!?!?! Are we serious with this??? 😅 it’s laughable at this point! Come on guys, really?!?!

Good is normally great but this time it was terrible. It looked like our food sat out for 20-30 minutes. They gave the appetizer with our main meal. I will not be returning for a while.
