There is plenty of parking around the restaurant. They were busy but we got seated quickly. The server was quick to check in and get drink orders and check for any questions. The food is inexpensive, portions are good and flavor is decent. There wasn't a stand out or wow item but you will be satisified.

This place is amazing!! We are from out of town and were looking for a place to eat around 830. They closed in half hour but were super friendly and service was fast, friendly and efficient. Margaritas and street tacos were on point. Highly recommend!

LOVE Molcajete!! We've been going to the one in Kearney for years. So happy to have one here in Excelsior Springs. Molcajete serves good authentic Mexican food for reasonable prices and the service is always top notch. We usually go on Wednesday evening when margaritas are half price. I highly recommend the Carnitas or the Chili Verde. So darn good!

The food was great, served blazing hot, and in record time. This is a fine Mexican establishment. I was tickled by the painted brickwork. I had the shrimp tacos which were very good. The chips and salsa were excellent. Wife said the nacho supreme didn't hit the spot but she's hard to please. Seemed the staff really cared about providing excellent service - waters were refilled quickly, checked on just enough. The place was nearly full on the Tuesday night we visited but we didn't see anyone have to wait. Seriously this place was fast.
