"Consistently delicious" is what my mom said when we visited today. My parents are regulars here and they've never had a bad experience. They took me today and I can confirm. The food looks truly 5 star, it's visually beautiful. My Dad had a sandwich and my mom had the power pancakes Food comes out hot and fresh first time every time. I just had a yogurt parfait. The whole menu is quite appealing to the health conscious. The prices are elite and no one can beat it. 5 stars and well deserved!!!

What an amazing little gem of a restaurant. We will definitely return! A welcoming, comfortable, and inviting Cafe with a wide variety of breakfast, lunch and coffee options. The food was made fresh and was delicious. They even boast homemade bread pudding and cinnamon rolls. The staff was patient with us as it was our first time visiting and ready to meet any needs/answer questions we may have had in an effort to make sure we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. What a great experience!

It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but don’t let that fool you. It is so cute inside and the food is great! It is a counter ordering process, but they bring your food to you. My favorite is the Italian salad, packed with meat and cheese. The salad dressings are homemade and yummy. The paninis are also my favorite. And, don’t forget the Texas sheet cake or carrot cake. If that’s not enough, the coffee is great!!!Check the hours before you go… they aren’t open every day and they close at 2. They serve breakfast on some days (Fri., Sat. ?) and it sounds amazing. After lunch, look for treasures next door at the thrift shop. I found my favorite salad bowl there for $4!!!!

The food was good and serve in a timely manner and the service was friendly. I will come again. The atmosphere was good and it wasn't too loud like some place.

Love this place! Since I started working in Excelsior Springs a few months ago, I have made several stops here. And not once has it disappointed. The salads are so fresh, and a generous portion (whether doing a full or a 1/2). Italian with balsamic tends to be my go to although you can't go wrong with any, or any dressing, which they also make there. I like that there's a 1/2 & 1/2 option when I'm also in the mood for a sandwich. All of the chicken ones I've tried have been amazing! And if you still have room, grab a dessert ;) I think they're morning muffins are the best - with carrots and apples and coconut and just plain yum. So glad this place is here, and I will continue to be a regular!

I'd describe this as one of the must-do stops in Excelsior Springs, MO. Charming, rustic decor is evident as one drives up to the cafe. We were there in early June and the cafe's garden in the front was off to a strong start! We were a group of six there late on a Saturday morning. On Saturdays, breakfast is served all day. We had been old the cinnamon rolls were a recommendation; they must be good as they were gone by the time we arrived! The menu offered a variety of soups, sandwiches, and salads, coffees, teas, and lemonades. From our group I saw a variety of items. The blueberry muffins looked exceptionally delicious and they were full of fresh berries. We also tried the Greek salad, berry fresh salad, and chicken salads. We also had the soup of the day, which was tomato Basil, avocado toast and carrot cake. The salads all looked very fresh and were quite large. The half-size (half salad and soup) was perfect for a light lunch or brunch. The tomato basil soup was wonderfully balanced and even had small pieces of tomato in it, which was very refreshing. The carrot cake was three layers of moist cake separated with a generous dollop of cream cheese frosting. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I will most definitely make this a stop when I'm in Excelsior.
