Coffee is great! I like it simple so just black coffee for me! Had breakfast two times so far. The scramble and the frittata on a muffin were both awesome!

There is a little shopping area as you walk in. It had some honey, soaps, trinkets& more. The place was quaint and warm. Prices were comparable to other coffee shops. It was an ok coffee. Little light coffee& on flavor. They had a few snacks you could buy. Worth trying again. I enjoy fresh ground coffee houses. Flavors vary at times.

We LOVE Other Trails. The treats are delicious and have that homemade feeling. New drinks come with each season and big holiday. They're all fairly priced and can be customized within reason. And there's a little back patio where we love to sit and chat. I love how friendly they are, definitely our go-to spot.

One of the best little hidden treasures in Excelsior Springs! Wonderful customer service. Great coffee/tea & homemade treats! They also serve other soft drinks & calzones from 12-2pm. Go check them out!

This is the perfect coffee shop! It is reasonable priced, they have a few food items, and it’d be a great place to meet up with friends or sit down for a study session. They have an outside seating area too.

Stopped in on a Saturday morning when I had a couple of hours to kill, and this place lives up to the high rating! Really cool old building as a setting with friendly staff, incredible atmosphere, and most importantly great coffee. I had the Triple Crown Latte (Toffee, Hazelnut, Chocolate) and it was PHENOMENAL. Really cool place and run by a veteran to boot. Great experience all round!

I came in one day and mentioned I really liked pumpkin sauce for coffee, and shortly after I went back to get a drink and the barista mentioned that they had gotten it! That was so incredibly sweet and made my day!! I will continue to support this wonderful business and all of its amazing staff members!

Such an underrated coffee shop! It's classy but has a welcoming feel when you enter. There is a variety of coffees and bakery fruits and juices to choose from. I'm just wondering how I have never heard of this place before! It's my new favorite and I insist on anyone to give it a try.Parking: Park in the street or there's a parking lot just 10 feet awayWheelchair accessibility: The side walk glides into the building no steps

Other Trails is comparatively inconspicuous in its downtown Excelsior Springs surroundings. But once I stepped in, great aromas led me to the counter. I've had the breakfast frittata here twice and it was mouth-wateringly tasty. Service is top-notch. I felt welcome here. The coffee is great and the variety of options is amazingly creative. Drop in and check it on your next trip to the area? I will. (Just be sure not to arrive late; they close early. Mostly for breakfast-lunch.)

Absolutely recommend stopping into Other Trails if close to the area! Adorable and charming location, friendly service, and the coffees and baked goods are off the charts! We have stopped in multiple times and find it hard to choose a favorite ? 100 Miler, Butter Beer, Long Island Pkwy, and Ozark Turtle are always solid choices, and pair perfectly with their delicious Trifecta and Trail cookies ? Outdoor garden patio is gorgeous and multiple comfy seating options inside. Great for all ages and SO MANY OPTIONS!Next time I’ll resist diving in for a picture of ?Vegetarian options: Oat, soy, and almond milk options. Also have meat free breakfast options like scrambles, pastries, and overnight oatsKid-friendliness: Board games, books, and comfy seating. Also have wide range of Italian Sodas and Lemonades for kiddos!Dietary restrictions: Vegan, vegetarian, and GF options!

What a wonderful addition to Excelsior Springs’ downtown atmosphere. You won’t find friendlier staff anywhere. The baked goods….every last one….are amazing. I love the teas (both hot & cold). The internet is stellar, the atmosphere is great, the staff (& townsfolk) are all so nice. Prices are extremely reasonable. You would be remiss if you skipped Other Trails on your way thru town!
