Awesome old town dinner vibes. Food made to order right in front of you on the smallest well seasoned grill. One of the best breakfasts you can get in KC. The quality doesn’t match the price. This place is a bargain with top notch food! Highly recommended the biscuits and gravy add extra sausage or if it’s lunch time get you a few burgers! You’ll also want a few to take with you on the road.

Had some time off work so I tried a few different locations for breakfast over the week. One in Richmond, another in Independence and today we went to Excelsior. Ray's had the best atmosphere, pricing and food out of all of them. We will be back guaranteed!

This is a great place to get a delicious meal for breakfast or lunch. The staff were friendly. The food was hot and servings sizes were ample. It’s a small diner that comes from the past. The current owners are keeping the authenticity of the diner. We had breakfast burritos once (outstanding) and eggs with ham (2 pieces of thick cut ham) and hash browns and toast. Outstanding. The prices are low! Give them a try if you are in town.

The food was great and they take requests amazingly. Service was superb as well. When the waitress didn't know something that I asked her she made sure to figure it out for me. And the prices are moderate as well. $8-15 per person. Love it and very addictive.
