Brunch buffet was literally cold. My server complained about getting me a latte because she had to walk 30’feet to get it in the cafe. She actually told me she couldn’t do it but another server ratted her out. I could barely hear or understand her because she was double masked so it was just annoying to try to put together the muffled words. She seemed annoyed when we ask for butter and ketchup. They did take the buffet cost off our tab but overall we just didn’t have a good experience. The hostess was very sweet and kind and pretty atmosphere but I would not go back. I’m leaving this review in hopes that management will wil step up their game because it has a lot of potential it’s not living up to.

We stayed at The Elms and really enjoyed this restaurant. We ate here for breakfast lunch and dinner and all 3 were good. We ordered the hangover breakfast by room service and were shocked at how large it was. Delicious and would feed 2+ people, made it worth the $28 price.

I would give more stars if I could. The service was exceptional. My husband and I each had the NY Strip prepared perfectly at medium rare. We ordered a bottle of wine that was underwhelming. When the manager, Shay, asked how we liked it, we were honest. Based on what we expressed we liked, she went and opened up the wine bar to bring us a sample of a wine she recommended, and she was spot on. I would recommend this restaurant as the food was amazing and the service was even better.

Food was amazing!! Ordered a well done steak and came out twice wrong ( 1st time rare, 2nd time medium rare ).. however the manager Shay removed it from the bill and gave us a complimentary dessert.. the other food that was ordered ( salmon & grits, Brussel sprouts and house 1/2 loaf of bread was absolutely delicious. We ordered wine ( bartender was great at describing).. Ella was our server. She was great, professional and friendly.. we will definitely be back!!

The atmosphere was wonderful. It’s so charming. The drinks were delicious. The salmon and pork meals with grits were good. But y’all, Shay the manager was amazing and worth visiting, ASK FOR HER and tell her the Georgia peaches sent you!!!

Solid restaurant in Elms hotel. Bit on the pricey side for dishes, but we enjoyed the food.

Great good in a really cool place, though I'd say the prices are a touch high.

Great food and service. Surprised by all the negative reviews. Filet was perfect along with the glaze and puree. We enjoyed the freshly baked bread as an appetizer. My wife's shrimp pasta was unspectacular overall but the amount of shrimp in it was generous and was quality shrimp. The toffee bread pudding was fantastic. Our waiter Ash was very attentive too. Also my craft whiskey sour cocktail was great!Only complaint was an a la carte menu with ordering a steak would have been nice.Overall highly recommend if staying at the hotel.

Arrived in KC for work a night early due to flight availability and opted to redeem an award night here. Wish I could have stayed longer. Beautiful property. Chill vibe. Comfortable. Looked like a perfect venue for the couple getting married that evening, Seems possibly preferable to staying downtown for Chiefs or Royals game if you want a quiet experience.

It is a historic hotel in much need of repair. Old dirty carpet in the hallways and the rooms. The lap pool and hot tubs have wobbly rusted handrails unsafe. The cold tub had lots of paint bits floating in the water. As it is a historical building there are very few handicap accessible options. No elevator to the lap pool, no handrails in the shower. The shower floor was DANGEROUSLY slippery. Husband slipped. Room service had resort style delivery charges and they messed up the order and we never received glasses of water. Breakfast was $120. Two people. This was not a 5 star resort at all so why were the prices those of a 4-5 star resort. All the staff was nice. Ordered a drink and the server carried a slice of orange out from - the kitchen with his bare hands and laid it in my drink!! Disgusting. The dinner menu options were very limited. So we tried the place but will never go again and would not recommend to anyone. Drive to Hot Springs Arkansas or somewhere else. Not worth it at all.

Steaks are very good cuts which are well prepared. You pay a little more for the atmosphere and location but worth it. Great bar!

Had them as room service at the Elms hotel and they charged me well over $500 for raw steak, burnt Brussels sprouts that were raw after the burn, a skimpy charcuterie plate and all out disappointment. The server was rude and impatient and seemed annoyed with us for asking for silverware. Ughh. We should have just went to Applebee's in town. The three owls is an overpriced, terrible food (I mean what meth head did they hire to be chef?) Rude service . See $200 worth of charcuterie below. I could've made myself or stopped at Walmart or Hy-Vee for a bigger charcuterie for far less $.
