But my favorite reason to go to hunts is the wonderful staff!! Every interaction I've had with the crew has been amazing, always going above and beyond making each experience wonderful. “Coljacs has always been a special place for just me and my daughter to go. But after today sadly... I will not be back. My BLT was repulsive. The bacon was raw...floppy and had a green tinge to it. Looked like it was cooked just long enough to start to change colors. And either they didn't drain it or poured some kind of oil on the sandwich because the whole thing was covered with some type of oil. And then they put it in a panini maker for some strange reason. So it had burnt hard lines across it... Which is weird in itself. Because it's not that kind of sandwich. Just nasty... No thank you. Very sad day for me and my daughter... This is not designed to hurt the business... It's just to honestly tell my story... Normally I am in love with this place... I'm sorry this happened.”

“Fantastic coffee + baked goods, with even more fantastic staff! Not only are the prices on the drinks unbeatable, but the staff (manager, Adam in particular) is incredible. Wise Grounds is the kind of cafe you get excited about supporting because they will always go above and beyond for their customers! It really is the people that make it the best of the best. Adam even brought drinks to our whole team at Glik’s today and brightened our day (and I think he even converted our die-hard Starbucks girl to a new customer). Thank you to the staff at Wise Grounds for the BEST coffee & more importantly the BEST service!”

“Great local diner in Farmington. Had a great breakfast here with four people.

They were packed and we got one of the last tables, but the service was amazingly good considering how busy it was on a Saturday morning.

Server was very friendly and helpful. Portions of course were huge. The corn beef hash is homemade.

Only nitpicky negative was asking for the hashbrowns to be extra crispy and they weren’t.

I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. There’s gonna be plenty of leftovers.”

“I got take out. Wasn’t feeling well that day. The incredible young man who answered the phone was just WONDERFUL to speak with. We even had a couple quick giggles. I can be a bit nutty! I got the Pad ginger, no mushrooms, more ginger and sauce. It was DELICIOUS! I instantly felt rejuvenated! The price was excellent, as well. $12.34! Will return for a dine in experience, soon. I’m pretty sure my friend from Pennsylvania and I were there, back in 2021. She lives in Bloomsdale, MO, now!! We’ll have to check it out again.”

“Howah used to be the crown jewel of Chinese cuisine within a 50-mile radius—about 20 years ago. Back then, it was the go-to spot for flavorful dishes and consistent quality. Sadly, over time, it fell into decline, with overcooked meals and a building that started to feel neglected. Like many, I stopped going.

But recently, I decided to give it another shot—and I’m so glad I did.

Walking in, the first thing I noticed was how refreshed the place looked. Whether it’s a renovation or new ownership, something has clearly changed for the better. It felt clean, welcoming, and like a place that once again cares about its customers.

As for the food: it was a return to form. I ordered the tangy chicken with fried rice and crab Rangoon. Every bite took me back to the golden years—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The tangy chicken had just the right balance of sweetness and spice, and the crab Rangoon was crispy and creamy without being greasy.

I’m happy to say that Howah is back on my rotation. I give it an 8.6 out of 10. Whether it’s a return to their roots or a fresh start under new management, one thing’s clear: they’re doing things right again. Great job, Howah.”

“We were in town yesterday 6/24/25 and decided to eat here. We had the best waitress Jennifer. She took care of us and made us feel welcomed to be there. You need to have her train new employees on how to deal with customers because she was top notch. Our little girls loved her and she made sure our picky eating toddler had plenty of oranges to eat. I always get the Chipotle Chicken with Avocado we love driving down to Panera's in Farmington Missouri to shop then stop at Panera's restaurant pickup dinner then drive home. Staff always cheerful while we order & when we pickup at window is great place to eat.”
