Our waitress was very good. The restaurant is super cute. We ordered chicken on our salads and it was overcooked. The same thing happened with the mahi mahi. We ate it, we didn’t complain. If we weren’t leaving the state early tomorrow I probably would have mentioned it.. I wouldn’t order those dishes again if we were to come back.. We are not from this state. The dinner wasn’t one to rave about.
I am not a fancy person, nor am I one who likes to sit around and wait to get service. We went here for a date night, and it took 30 minutes for chips and queso to arrive. She took our order and 35 minutes later our order arrived. I ordered just a medium rare burger and parmesan fries. The burger was well done, and fries were skinny like mc donalds fries. 12 West Bar and Grill is a very nice restaurant. the staff is professional and the atmosphere is wonderful. The food is excellent, not the typical bar and grill food. Perfect for a date night or a family meal. The only drawback is that there are no gluten-free options.
