The parking lot was almost full in the front and back but we were seated within 10 minutes. She came quickly to take our orders. It did take a long time to get our food but, oh, how worth the wait it was. The food is served family style and we had a platter full of catfish, fried chicken, shrimp, hush puppies and sidewinder fries that was amazing looking. The catfish is genuine with no fishy taste and with just the perfect crispness and seasoning. The fried chicken is deboned and fried with a light breading and is moist inside. The shrimp is fine but not worth filling up on when you have the other two. You can order up to five sides so we had sidewinder fries, fried okra, white beans, fried corn on the cob and coke slaw. The cole slaw was okay, a little sweet, but the rest were about the best you best you could get. Catfish Kettle is as good as it ever was and well worth the money.

Service was outstanding!! Staff very helpful, friendly, and checked-in a lot!! However, the hushpuppies had no flavor. Crabcake sauce was tasty, but the pre-made cakes were average. I was there at peak dinner hour so it was a bit noisy (but that didn't bother me).
