Colton's Steak House & Grill

They have a step in a dark corner of the back part of room Yellow has worn away, long story short I fell off the step I didn't see. had to set there about 5 min. before I could get up. A costumer got my cane from under a table so my daughter could help me get up..

Loved it, very nice place. Great service.

We were in town yesterday 6/24/25 and decided to eat here. We had the best waitress Jennifer. She took care of us and made us feel welcomed to be there. You need to have her train new employees on how to deal with customers because she was top notch. Our little girls loved her and she made sure our picky eating toddler had plenty of oranges to eat. Thank you Jennifer.

Nasty food

Great place. 1st time to Coltons. Lesley at the bar was so pleasant and takes care of her customers. Will be back soon.
The potatoe skins are amazing. Better than all the rest.

Went to the Farmington location with my husband on father's day we both ordered steak 6oz baked potato med rare with Mac and cheese got our food had to ask for the Mac and cheese steak was very tuff couldn't eat it baked potato was cold butter wouldn't even melt told our waitress she offered to take it back and get another I said no didn't want to wait. Got the bill asked for military discount she brought the bill it was 31.00 gave her my card and she brought me a receipt back that then had 44.00 on it . All I wanted to do was get out before I made a scene . Won't be going back there

"I recently visited Colton's in Farmington, Missouri, and had a mixed experience. The beer selection was impressive, with cold brews served promptly. Our waitress was exceptional, providing attentive and friendly service. Unfortunately, I didn't catch her name, or I would have gladly given her a shout-out.

Regarding the food, there were highs and lows. My steak was overcooked, appearing gray instead of the requested level of doneness. The Caesar salad was also disappointing, with wilted lettuce that tasted like it had been dressed with milk instead of the traditional Caesar dressing.

On a positive note, my companion's burger was cooked to perfection and received high praise. The dinner rolls were also freshly baked and delicious.

Overall, while our experience had some missteps, the excellent service and some standout menu items make me willing to give Colton's another try in the future." 3/5 stars

Ordered Alfredo with grilled chicken and shrimp Got grilled(I think) and breaded. When I said something waitress brought only 4 pieces of shrimp. Chicken was a bunch of chunks. Normally places slice the chicken and you can tell by taste that it was grilled. Husband's stak was not 10 ounces.inside. He ordered double fries for his sides and it was the same portion as our friends regular side. Friends sweet potato was cold inside. 2x we has unsatisfactory meal

Prices are higher than other steak houses. Loaded mashed potatoe was mostly sour cream. Okra was not good. Skins were pretty good. Had an alarm bell going off often which made for a hectic environment. Need an air curtain at fron vestibule door as the booth by the lobby got blasted by fridgid air every time someone opened it. I will think twice where I am going to spend that kind of money.
