General Custard's Re-Treat

Really good! Blackberry cobler is an excellent choice.

Let me just say that you get more than your moneys worth. And it was delicious frozen custard. I wish that I would have taken a picture so you could see for yourself how big my come was and how delicious it looks. But you have to take my word on the taste,m-m-m-m good.

this place is the absolute worst. i’ve never seen a business do a complete 180 like this one has. the new owner Shelia? Shayla? something extra obnoxious along those lines has always been nothing but snarky and rude every last time i’ve come through. the employees are so bubbly and friendly when she is not around but so uptight when she is there or at least has been there you can always tell. the prices have sky rocketed yet we are getting smaller portions. i would come here with my dad as a little girl and as much as i hate to say it but i will not be returning here again!

They brought their truck to our company picnic today. We haven’t had them in a while so it was a welcome site. They did a fantastic job! We had the strawberry ice cream and strawberry lemonade. They were amazing!!
Glad the new owners are adding products. We will be going back to try all the new stuff!

I want to preface that the girl at the register was nice, but the reason for this review is because I'm not sure she is trained very well.
Could be wrong.
Anyways, at ordering time we saw the note on their counter that we would have a 4% charge if we use a Credit Card.
So I paid in cash.
I felt the amount was off, even telling her I expected to be around $10.00 something. So when she asked if I wanted a receipt, I said yes.
I got charged the 4% anyways.

When I brought it up, she just said it was a new system and it's on all charges.
So I'll told her they need to change their sign then because I would have paid with a card if I was going to be charged the 4% anyways.
I also don't even think it's legal for them to charge a 4% fee just for the fun of it either.

And lastly, we felt the items were small for the price. I get the economy and such.

But change your sign if your going to charge the 4% fee on all transactions. That's false advertising and not legal.

Please train staff accordingly.

The ice cream is phenomenal! The service was spectacular and the decor is adorable

The best. My only complaint is they fill the cups up all the way but you can't take a star off for that!

We love the ice cream here! It’s so creamy and the servings are very generous!! 😋

Super kid friendly and I love that it’s right off the freeway. Kids were able to play and we got a break from driving.

The ice cream is great and my kids loved the play ground. The portions are also large.

After driving by this place numerous times, we finally checked it out and so glad we did! Everything was delicious! The workers were friendly too. Our girls can’t wait til it is warm enough out to enjoy the little playground with their sundaes. ☺️

Custard is top notch! Can’t wait to come back!
