Extremely poor service, food was very good. Took forever to even get our drinks & refills came when we were ready to pay. $20 Tip was included in bill & she didn't deserve even a dollar!!! I think tip sould be our choice what we give. If they deserve a good tip, I always give what they deserve.

We tried the Harry Potter Roll this time. Delicious!Food is always great when we go. Appetizers that I recommend: YumYum Roll, Monkey Brain, Crab Stick Tempura. All of the Hibachi entrees are delicious. We normally go for steak, shrimp, or chicken. But I've had the salmon before too and it was divine. Portions are very filling. Never had a bad experience here. ❤

Food was mediocre and expensive compared to other hibachi restaurants. Service was slow and there weren’t many people eating.

Our chief was amazing his name was Ryle baker! We give him a 5/5. He was friendly and very attentive. All the food was cooked toProtection. Our only complaint was our waiter wasn’t very good AT ALL! We didn’t even get told his name.

Sushi is spot on and I recommend the teriyaki chicken box. It comes with a variety of good things. Ginger salad is very good too.
Love this place. The food is amazing! We got seated right away on a Friday. Our waitress was great also. It is a little expensive. Totally worth it to me though. A meal at McDonald's is now at least $10 so spending $20 per person at Shoguns is worth it for quality.

Unless you're familiar with Japanese cuisine, this is not the place to start. Unlike the Japanese restaurants I went to in California, Shogun lacks the warm welcome to the help the novice who is unfamiliar with all of the wonderful options of the Japanese delicacies. And for those who are familiar with the ambiance of the refined Japanese experience, Shogun is about as Japanese as a German guesthouse pretending to be a French restaurant. I don't think the owners of this establishment realizes this is the Mid-West and not Hawaii. When I go out to a Japanese restaurant all I want is the privacy and courtesy that the cultured Japanese restaurants are known for providing. The food was delicious; but the experience was an embarrassment since this was my friend's first time experiencing her "Japanese experience". But, at least they know how to serve Saki!

Ordered over the phone, waited 40 min. 10 of which were IN THE building & nobody could bother to tell me nobody even started my order. Asked if I could have a discount for the wait and their mistake and they offered 1$ off. Tried to speak with manager but "she was busy" DO NOT SUPPORT THIS

I'm a truck driver so obviously I'm not from here but wanted it try it, the waitress was nice I ordered stale & shrimp fried rice with a Superman sushi roll and the sushi was amazing!! The stake & shrimp was okay it was a small portion 6 shrimp and stake was rare and still tough so over all from first experience sushi is the best
