Not my typical kind of place but it was within walking distance of our hotel. The small dining area next to the bar (majority of the spacious building is pool tables) was bar/old cafe shabby but clean. Food was pretty good and our server was great. Seems like a good place for locals.
I was in town for work from out of state and stumbled across Stix & Steins in Farmington, MO — what a great find! First off, the place is extremely clean, neat, and well-kept, which is always a huge plus when you’re somewhere new. They’ve got awesome happy hour prices, especially if you’re into whiskey — can’t beat it. The beer is ice cold just like it should be!

We had some great food. One of the only places I can think of that does fried mushrooms currently.
We went on a Tuesday. On Tuesdays their specials are currently half-price appetizers. We grab some mozzarella sticks and fried mushrooms.
