Sugarfire Smoke House Farmington

Ordered the half rack dinner which came with two sides and I ordered an extra side. Rubs were fall off the bone and seasoned ok. Could be a little better on seasoning. A selection of bbq sauces is available. My friend ordered two meat platter with brisket and ribs. Brisket was super tender but his ribs had some dried out portions that had been on the heat too long but were still good. The 8-piece hush puppies with spicy jelly were fantastic! Cole slaw and baked beans were also good. The drink fountain contains regional sodas and it appears that coke and Pepsi are not available. Would definitely return and try some of the other offerings.

We were so excited to check out the location in Farmington, but sadly left very grossed out and unhappy. While the food wasn’t bad—the rest made for a really rough experience. There were two cockroaches crawling across our table while we ate and when we brought (discreetly) to the managers attention he attempted to dismiss us saying “Well, I’ve never seen any here.” They said they would “investigate.” Once he finally came to the table, he still did not believe us. I had to point out the bugs and shine my flashlight along the table and wall for him to even acknowledge it was real. He then semi-apologized and said “Well I know what I’ll be doing tonight.” I assume referring to cleaning. He never once came back to apologize or anything of the sort. We definitely did not expect a free meal and never made that seem like a requirement. However, having next to zero regard for the situation was very frustrating. I totally get things happen, bugs make their way in…. But cockroaches? During the day? Without apology? Not okay.

For your next party don't forget about Sugarfire's famous smoked chocolate chip cookies. I took them to a birthday party and they were a huge hit! Sugarfire for the win.

We had an amazing experience at the Farmington location on our way home from a family trip. The staff was super accommodating and made some great food recommendations. Everything we tasted was delicious. We look forward to returning soon!

It is lunchtime on Sunday – but it’s not THAT crowded! No clean forks available.

Not as big as the st. Charles location but food was great. We eat here before every scout camp! Last good meal. lol
