this will sound weird for a review of a steakhouse, but it is accurate. Went there for my B day lunch and had the steak medallions which was perfect, but that is not the story. The story was the french fries. I swear to Gawd those were the best freaking fries I ever have had in my life. hands down. Go there just for the fries.

I really wanted to love this place.
A steakhouse + bar + butcher concept is exactly the kind of place where a $60 ribeye should make sense. Unfortunately, the execution didn’t come close to the signal.
I ordered the 16-oz ribeye ($60), cooked medium-rare. What arrived was a thin (about ½-inch), irregularly shaped steak with rough edges and far more gristle than you’d ever expect from a ribeye — let alone one described as “Prime.” Cutting through it was a struggle in places where ribeye should be tender. The texture and overall quality were disappointing enough that we sent it back.
When it returned, it was more cooked but still clearly the same cut: thin, gristly, and nowhere near what a serious steakhouse should be serving at this price point. Garlic butter on top couldn’t hide the underlying issue.
For context: this wasn’t even comparable to what you’d expect at Texas Roadhouse, let alone what a $60 steak signals. And that’s the core problem here — the price sets an expectation that the product doesn’t meet.
Service was polite, but explanations were vague and didn’t inspire confidence. We asked directly whether the steaks served in the dining room were the same as the ribeyes displayed in the butcher case (which actually looked well-trimmed and properly cut). We never got a clear answer.
The manager did offer to comp 50%, which we appreciated — but this turned out to be 50% off the entrée, not the bill, after earlier wording implied otherwise. Again, not malicious, but part of a pattern where clarity seems to slip when it matters.
I don’t want this to be a bad restaurant. I want it to succeed. But charging $60 for a ribeye is a promise, and right now that promise isn’t being fulfilled. If this is a supply issue, a trimming issue, or a sourcing issue — it needs to be addressed. Steak-savvy customers will notice immediately, and they won’t come back.
If management tightens up sourcing, thickness, and transparency, this place could be what it’s trying to be. Until then, just know that the premium pricing does not reflect a premium steak.

At first i thought we were getting more of a finer dining experience , i had made a reservation , when qot there the girl behind the desk ,answered the phone instead of seating us , which we both thought was rude , kinda set the tone ,the food was decent a little pricey , kinda of a small place ,not really what we thought we were getting , there are other places in the area that are better and quieter , for the most part it was ok not sure we will return , much better places in the area with the same prices and great food . waiter was nice !

The food and service was amazing. The swordfish bites for an appetizer were one of the best I’ve had. The steaks we ordered were cooked exactly like we asked. Rachel went above and beyond. Checked on us regularly and our drinks were never empty. The perfect place for a date night!! We were extremely happy with our meal.

Very overpriced for the quality of food, location, and ambiance. Not very clean looking, bathroom was a little rough & the sink was clogged, a couple flies buzzing around. The food was fine…but not at all worth the prices. This is food I’d expect to get at a chain restaurant, and for half the price…plus very simple $15-16 cocktails??? Literal cocktail bars are cheaper than that…This place is in a dingy strip mall. Just bc your business says chophouse in the name doesn’t mean you automatically should have the prices of a normal one.

If you are in eureka check this spot out. The staff was friendly and prompt. The food was absolutely delicious. The filet, ribeye, fries, spuds…all top notch. Highly recommend.

Hey Fenton, stuffed mushrooms came out cold, pulled pork sliders came with hair in it. Ordered three sirloin steaks medium, all three came out Raw. Had a burger came out Raw, I'm not talking pink I'm talking red like it wasn't cooked. Whoever's in the kitchen doesn't know how to cook. Turn the flame down, buy some meat probes. Plus ordered chicken and you guest it, came out pink. And you think we'll maybe it's cuz they were busy, nope. We were the only ones in there. It gave us nothing but bathroom time after we left. You think they would have offered a discount or gift card of some kind, but nothing. Worst food ever!
