My husband and I love this place. Never had a bad meal. Servers are very personable and accommodating. I like that it is locally owned as well. Do yourself a favor; try it! If you don't have time to eat in, order to go. Yum. Keep in mind that they are super particular about their food so not all items can be ordered to go and I just love that too.

Food quality doesn’t match the prices. They appear and look like fine dining. However the food was not but the prices appear to be. Stuffed mushrooms, were not cooked through. I don’t eat mushrooms but could tell they were not cooked fully. My husband would eat anymore after the first one. I ordered the chicken saltimbocca, it was okay, very salty likely due to the pork added. The entrees were served with green beans, these were good. Also served with garlic, butter linguine, which came out as butter noodles. These were very underwhelming. I mentioned to the server and asked for some garlic but she insisted the red sauce. Terrible suggestion, if I wanted red sauce I would have asked. A re-fire of garlic butter linguine would have been better, just with ANY garlic because it had none on the first order. My teenager son didn’t eat his entire steak… and he eats anything and everything. Total bill $135, quality of food did not match the prices. We tried and know we won’t be back.

First time we’ve been there for dinner lunch was always wonderful with great service. Dinner is a whole experience of its own. I had the Parmesan encrusted pork chop. I have never had pork so juicy in my life. My husband had the fillet and the same thing so flavorful and so juicy it will definitely be a regular go to, the atmosphere is wonderful it’s casual enough to be laid-back but nice enough that you don’t feel like you were in your normal chain restaurant

Very sad I had to pay $4.12 for an iced tea. I’ve never seen such a high price anywhere in St Louis for iced tea . Tea is cheap. I can buy a box of tea bags for less than what I paid. Please reconsider lowering your price. Customers, such as myself, hate to be taken advantage of. I’ll gladly pay your prices for the delicious food I’ve eaten at Chop House.I very much enjoy your food, service and atmosphere. For that I give 5-Stars.

Really great service and food. People kept pushing past our chairs to get to the bathroom and some people were very boisterous and getting up from their tables. It was not an environment where we could enjoy our meal.

Best restaurant we have been to. Such a romantic valentines. they really put in the effort. Black tablecloth, nice silverware, and real roses on the table. Everything about the place was gorgeous. The service was phenomenal. The drinks were also very good. At this place you definitely get for what u pay for. And that is amazing services. I’m a huge steak fan and not easy to impress, but well done!! We also love that they had a live band. We asked them if they did it just for Valentine’s Day but they said they do it every Wednesday. Will definitely have to come back. And will recommend to everyone we know.
