According to reviews this is not the experience that all customers have.My problem was the pies, they were just not at all the quality expected for $30 a pie. The apple pie ordered for a special birthday was completely undercooked and bland. It was really disappointing to spend so much and have dessert be so underwhelming.

DO NOT USE, PREPAY OR BUY BIG ORDERS: I pre-purchased a years worth of pie delivery from the owner Cindy last year before Christmas and she not only failed to fulfill the order, she is now not responding for me to get my refund and at this point has now stolen my money. The service was for 2 pies each month delivered to my mother in laws house for a full year starting last January. After only 2 deliveries, my mother in law called 4 times until she finally got a relative to Cindy on the phone, to which they mentioned that there was a death in the family and would get back to her when they can… but that never happened. I live in California and my mother in law lives near St. Louis, so I actually did not know that this had happened until a month ago because my 86 year old mother in law who has MS and severe scoliosis was being gracious and waiting for her to get back. I messaged Cindy December 3rd, no response. Waited until December 13th and sent a text message, left a voice mail, sent an email, and also left a message on her business line letting her know that if I didn’t hear from her soon I’d be starting the necessary steps and procedures to get a refund. That finally sparked a message that she had sent to me letting me know that she can fulfill the order of the pies to which I asked for a refund instead as she did not follow through with her contract and at this point I didn’t feel like she would fulfill it completely anyways. she responded that she would get me a refund and that was on the next day. After 4 days I sent her my Venmo information as that’s how I paid as well, and asking when I could expect a refund to which she did not respond. So again I waited until December 30 giving her time, and asked again when I could expect a refund or I would need to start filing the necessary paperwork in order to get my refund back. it is now January 6 and I have not heard anything back. I will now be filing a complaint with the BBB and also a law suit in small claims not only asking for my money she owes me but I will have to travel from California to do this. Just very disappointing as I was very excited for my mother-in-law to have this gift from us as we don’t get to see her a lot and it then falls through like this.

I am updating to leave two reviews. 5 star is based on 11 of 16 pies I ordered. These 11 pies were sent to my team members in various states. I emailed Cindi March 6th and sent a detailed spreadsheet with the name, pie, address and phone. All the pies that were shipped were sent out and delivered FedEx on Friday March 11th. Everyone absolutely loved their pies - all said they were delicious, often finishing off the pie the same day. These were strawberry rhubarb, key lime, blackberry pie and hog heaven pie. People loved them so much that a few said they wanted to order pies themselves. I absolutely would order another strawberry rhubarb as it was delicious. This is what makes the next part of my review so odd and difficult.. it is like dealing with two different people. Local delivery was a bad experience that still continues.I cannot write a separate second review - so here it is - a 1 star review for the 5 pies that were to be delivered locally to my St Louis team members on Sunday Mar 13th. My very first email to Cindi on Mar 6th was inquiring about a Sun delivery. We had several emails and a phone call - all the St Louis pies were to be delivered Sun. She asked me to send her the addresses Monday afternoon so she could schedule delivery, which I did.At 5pm CST on Sun Mar 13th, she emailed asking me to resend my spreadsheet, which I did and asked if the St Louis pies were delivered. She replied "Delivery tomorrow (with pie emojis)" I replied they were to have been delivered Sunday and my team was expecting them. I texted my team to let them know to expect Monday delivery. Cindi then contacted my team and said she'd deliver Sun night. I emailed her and told her I had already texted them about Monday. She delivered two pies between 10-10:30pm Sun night which is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. This was after texting one person at 9pm that she'd be there in 20 min. Those two pies were apple and both recipients did not have anything good to say about the pie quality or taste. The other pie delivered Sun night was bananas foster and they loved it. I am not sure when the St Louis key lime was delivered but the photo looked beautiful.It is now Tue Mar 15th 6pm CST and the last pie still has yet to be delivered. Cindi told my team member she would deliver Sun or Mon. Still no pie. I emailed Cinid this am and texted and emailed late this afternoon with no response. My team member texted her around noon and was told it would be delivered this afternoon - which it was not.It is really unbelievable. 11 pies shipped were fabulous and service was great but these 5 local pies have been a pieasco (get it - fiasco of pies).Photo before reheating and devouring the most delicious strawberry rhubarb pie. Had it shipped to PA. Yummy!

Cindy is amazing! I needed a local delivery in St Louis for a family member who is hospitalized, and thankfully I landed on Its Easy As Pie. I placed my order, and quickly received a call from Cindy who needed a bit more detail and who was very flexible with my request and able to offer some new recommendations that actually worked out better than my original order. She personally hand-delivered the pie to my sister (who was accepting it on behalf of my brother-in-law), and they had a nice chat. Amazing friendship, out-of-town hospitality, and customer service above and beyond my expectations. Thank you for making my family members feel they have a new friend in the area, and for uplifting my brother in law with his favorite.....pumpkin pie!! Highly recommend Its Easy as Pie!

Cindy didn't even bother to call and tell me that the pie was not ready and I wasted 30 minutes of my life driving up there at 4 PM. "No problem," she says "I'll just deliver it to you later tonight." Frustrating, but sure, I need the pie for Thanksgiving so I give her an address to deliver it to. She never shows, ignores my calls, finally sends me a text message telling me that she'll deliver it tomorrow. Well tomorrow was Thanksgiving, and that was too late. Nowhere in ANY of this process did she once apologize to me for wasting my time and throwing a wrench in the works of my holiday. To top it off, I had to ask her multiple times for a refund. What a mess.

My brother works in a hospital and has exposure to a lot of Coronavirus patients. He's spending Thanksgiving all alone so we decided to order him one of their Thanksgiving pies. We placed our order almost a week and a half ago and the day before Thanksgiving were informed that the order won't ship until December 3.I'm reasonable. If we had been notified ahead of time, or even offered an actual apology then I may have felt differently, but a form apology 12 hours before Thanksgiving?Support local businesses, just not this one. Extremely disappointed... Don't use this place.

We ordered a pie from out of state. Website initially mentioned they don’t ship out of state but we received a call FROM the owner and she said “We ship out of state!”. So my husband ordered 2 pies from her and paid an extra $30 for the shipping. We were getting the pie for my husbands grandmother for her birthday. She told us it would arrive in a couple days. We have ordered a pie from a previous place out of state, and it showed up with ice packs and nice and frozen still. This pie showed up DISGUSTING. His grandmother said it was a sticky mess. Why offer out of state if you cant handle shipping it properly? We tried contacting her and she has since not returned our calls and many messages. We spent A LOT of money trying to get these pies for my husbands grandmother. Don’t give this place your business!

Had pies and cupcakes for my wedding desserts and I cannot begin to tell you how many people were obsessed with these pies!!! They loved them!! Within 3 hours of dessert being out all my mini pies were gone! They were so good!!!

SHE DELIVERS! I was trying to purchase a homemade pie for my dad--who lives out in STL. I called a couple places with good reviews, but none of those places actually delivered. There was no way I could get the pie to my dad for his birthday. So a friend recommended I call Cindy...and lo' and behold, she not only had great pie flavor selections, BUT SHE OFFERED TO DELIVER IT PERSONALLY! Holy Smokes! She made my day. And she helped make my dad's birthday a special one. #KeyLime!

Ownership also went above and beyond for us. Knowing that we were new to the food truck game, they allowed us to stay a little while longer to make sure we got everything done.
