In checking the area for Mexican restaurants, we decided to give this one a try. Our service was good, and arrived quickly. We would have gone back, but saw that the Jefferson County Health Department had given this restaurant a very low rating in April. If there was a follow up inspection with a better rating, we didn't see it. Not so sure I'll ever want to go back there now.
Not sure what was going on the afternoon of Jan 4, but waitress was very grumpy. Been coming here for years and never experienced this before. Good food and drinks were wonderful though! Waitress just was not having a good day.
Everything was great about this place except the service of a particular server on the bar side a few weeks ago. The bigger mexican lady took forever to come back to the table, and when she gave us our check, she rushed us out. We watched the other tables get good service, it was just this lady that had an issue. Other than that, food was good. Recommend the carnitas tacos and margaritas.
