I am so sad to say this place has gotten filthy. There was mold in the drink dispenser and the restaurant dining area was dirty. Cooks clothes were covered in filth. I thought this was the last Steak ‘n Shake that I could still come to but we won’t be back!

I placed a pickup order at Steak 'n Shake using the kiosk. The food was delicious—everything tasted fresh and was well-prepared. However, the wait time was quite long. I received my shake long before the food was ready, and it had started to melt by the time my order was complete. The dining room also looked like it could use a good cleaning. It's clear they are understaffed and doing their best. The food itself was good, but the overall experience was a bit rough.

I think everyone working at this location was huffing paint. Dude on the grill was rocking out the burgers and making a whole symphony of sound while doing it. He wanted nothing to do with nothing but burgers. Ol’ boy putting all the orders together was in his own world completely. I literally watched him bag my order and then just leave it sitting next to him. I thought oh maybe he is waiting on another fry or something I missed. Nope. Just sat there for like 10 min. Finally, I tried to get the attention of the grill conductor but he flat out refused to acknowledge that I was saying “excuse me” to him. Then he disappeared! I could have sworn he vanished with a final slap of his spatula. Anyway, I proceeded to say “excuse me” to the bro in lala land. Girl in the drive thru must have had the most ventilation from the paint fumes and finally acknowledged my presence. I proceeded to ask her if she could just hand me my order cause it had been sitting there for a hot minute. She put some utensils and napkins in and brought it over. Dude magically appeared and I was like hey, I didn’t see him put my cheese sauce in, is it in there?” He was like, “ I don’t know I didn’t bag it.” So I let him know they were not there so he got them. Overall food was all cold by the time I got it and the fries were like frylettes, all broke up. Nah.

I used to love steak n shake! Now they're kiosk only and you lose the fun diner aspect of being served. The fries were extremely salty. Like all you could taste was salt. It was literally falling out of the fry container.

I went through drive through. Jeremy who took my order was lovely. When I received my ordered I asked for no bun due to allergies. All the food was sloppy and thrown to the side. It was very dry. I was given no silverware. As well.

The food was decent. The manager that was there is RUDE! He burned the sourdough for my Frisco and when I asked for new bread he rolled his eyes and snatched the burned sandwich out of my basket. We asked for containers for our leftovers and again he copped an attitude and didn't even give us what we asked for. WE WILL NEVER COME BACK! Horrible first impression for out of towners!
