Great atmosphere, awesome staff, amazing beverages!

I like to try different kinds of mead, and as I was in Macadoodles in Joplin I found that they have a fairly good selection. Four Brothers mead had 3 different selection, I chose Odin Hrafn. Once home I poured a glass, the smell seemed sour. The taste was watery and bitter, like this batch had gone bad. There was no hint of honey or sweetness to the drink. I do not like leaving bad reviews, but this bottle is undrinkable. Hopefully it is just a bad batch because I was hoping to try the blackberry.

Went down for 5th Annual Sigurblot festival. Like a low key ren faire, but with vikings. Highly recommended, and owners/staff are a class act. Frozen mango/peach mead and the new cherry mead were a hit.

My husband and I went for thier mead festival this October and dang did we have a good time. Prices are reasonable considering the quality and alcohol content. Atmosphere was exquisit. The mead festival will definitly become a new October tradition. Truthfully, the mead was a little on the dry side for my hubbie but he liked the Yggdrasil Sap. I enjoyed all the flavors. Definitly a place to check out, especially if you're interested in feeding your inner norseman.

We purchased a bottle of The regular mead and a bottle of the blackberry mead. I'm sorry to say, they were terrible. We couldn't dink either. We wasted $50 Dollars on mead we couldn't drink. The flavor had a bitter after taste and did not go down smoothly. Being a Veteran myself, I do my best to support other Veterans in all their ventures. My wife and I were very disappointed with the taste. I am a mead lover at heart, having lived in England for years.

I absolutely love this place. The mead is the best you will ever drink and the staff are absolutely amazing people who have quickly become good friends. From the first time I walked in the door it felt like home. I cannot say enough good about this establishment and the wonderful people who operate it.

Been wanting to go forever, and finally did for my birthday! My wife treated me to their flight of mead, all of it amazing. We got a bottle of Yggdrasil Sap, and a small horn cup. Can't thank the staff enough! As a Norse Pagan and Lokean finding REAL mead is hard enough, let alone mead brewed by modern warriors! SKÄL!
