I went into H&K’s this afternoon to pick up my daughter a few Halloween treats, and I was absolutely blown away!! I got 2 cupcakes, a vanilla cupcake with stawberry filling, and a cookie dough cupcake. The icing on top was absolutely amazing. I also purchased an adorable Halloween themed hot coco bomb, and it came with a spoon that was coated in white chocolate and marshmallows so that u can stir it into the hot coco😍 I also purchased a plastic skull kids cup, that had a bag of freeze dried skittles inside (another cute Halloween idea) The customer service was amazing as a first time customer! I will be back to have my daughter’s birthday cake made by her. Absolutely recommend!!!

We have tried so many things from this place and everything is absolutely amazing!! 10 out of 10!!! Any and every flavor of cheesecakes is amazing. This place is our go to for sweets and that’s not ever going to change!! Love this place!

Contacted the business for a birthday cake quote. I called and was asked to send a text of my request. After sending the text, I did not receive a response from them and had to make other arrangements. I tried calling again and reaching out on Messenger without success. Would not recommend for custom cake orders.

This place has been one of my favorites since they first opened. I absolutely love their store and menus and can not recommend them enough. I got my graduation cake from them and it was the best cake I have ever had she made it perfect to the reference photo and included everything I could have wanted.

after the last review I was contacted by the owner. she wanted to make things right. we have no clue what happened to the first batch of cupcakes but the replacement was being delicious. the icing is rich and flavorful and this time the cupcake was moist and tasty. thank you Hannah for fixing the problem and bringing them to me. I hope you consider getting rid of the sliced berry and stick with a whole berry or none at all or place the berry on as the customers guy that type.
previous review........we got 12 cupcakes for a party. while the icing was delicious the cake portion tasted and felt like a couple days old. the strawberries on top were dried out and border rubbery. the display case was totally empty at 9:30 in the morning. not sure if we will go back or just use another bakery. talking to my boss she said when she went there was a group sitting and nobody came to wait on them till they were leaving and the display case was empty as well. the employee was sitting with the group not minding the customers.

Owner is AMAZING! Needed 3 dozen cupcakes for a birthday party, and they turned out beautiful! They went over so well at the party. Tons of people asked where I got them! I ordered strawberrry, cinnamon churro, and triple chocolate. Cinnamon churro was my personal favorite ?. Will definitely reach out anytime I need desserts for an event!

OHHHHH YEAHHHHH! I ordered a sampling of the various baked goods from here and I can safely say I don’t yet have a favorite because everything I tried was immaculate. The cookie was soft throughout, even the edges felt like I was biting into the center. No clue how this is possible but it was excellent. The macaroons were delicate and flavorful. The red strawberry cake was dense and delicious. And I tied it all together with a bite of salted caramel cupcake that ultimately led to me having to finish the entire cupcake. An order from here will not disappoint and as a resident of St. Peter’s, I can say it is well worth a trip to festus. Please do yourself a favor and give this bakery a try.
I ordered a breakable chocolate heart with chocolate covered strawberries inside, and the whole experience was amazing! I worked with Hannah who responded promptly and answered all questions I had. My husband and I are vegan and she made sure to get chocolate we could eat. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out and will be recommending to family/friends!

This place is incredible. The sugar shack is clean, bright, and welcoming. The customer service was outstanding and the desserts were even better than expected. Everything we tried was a keeper, but the churro cupcakes and double chocolate brownie were my favorites. I put both in the freezer for about an hour before eating them and wow......game changer.

My husband and I truly love this bakery. Every time we’ve been in they’ve been so kind and all of the treats have been absolutely incredible. The cheesecake fruit salad and banana cheesecake pudding cup are forever my favorite desserts. We’ve order a triple chocolate cake from there as well, very last minute I should add, and it was absolutely heavenly and the owner was so kind to accommodate us so last minute. We live in Imperial so it’s not the closest bakery to us, but I will never ever bat an eye about making the drive to always purchase from them and making sure everyone I know also knows how amazing H&K’s is!
