I was told I wasn't allowed to have anymore than 6 tomatoes on my food and the girl refused to let me add to my food. Never had this problem before and she was horrible about it. 8/15/25 at 4:50pm. Would not recommend go to Hillsboro they are better! No way to report the problem either like other restaurants.

Girl working and making sandwich was very rude and unprofessional. Will not be returning until she is no longer working.
I ask for extra onions as I always do and she made a big deal causing a seen
She ask me to pay as they were toasting my sandwich which was already a little rushy but no big deal
And I told her I would have paid for extra onions if she wouldn’t have already cashed me out and still refused to add extra

i will not be returning to this location. i came inside to order on 7/30/25, i have my receipt and i paid for a kids meal, i was handed the bag with just the sandwich, no other instructions. i get home to find that the kids applesauce and milk are not in the bag, nor was i told i had to grab them from anywhere else. i call back up later that night and they told me they can’t refund me and i asked for a free kids meal my next visit and they said no, they took no responsibility for their mistake, they were also out of ice, soda, and most of their chips. will not be returning.

Save your money, just make a sandwich at home , I promise you it will be ten times the quality or product you will get if you go to this subway. I made a online order for 4 sandwiches to feed my family, 3 of the sandwiches were Italian and one was a club. I arranged to do pick up, when I got there I called, and was told they were not bringing the sandwiches out, I am handicapped and my grandparents whom I was riding with are 83 years in age and do not walk stable. However I got my wheel chair out, and to my surprise their establishment is far from wheel chair friendly. The inside was cluttered , and that is after I took 4 times to try to open the impossible door to the store. I got my order, which they seemed very confused about asking me more then once how many sandwiches I had, but I got them and left. Got home which is 15 minutes in distance, opened the sandwiches to find every single sandwich had the wrong cheeses on them. All of the italian sandwiches had a Chipotle sauce that we did not ask for, and does not even come on the sandwich, and the meat had a odd smell to it. We tried to salvage the sandwiches as I spent over 30 bucks for the order. Upon taking a bite we found out quick something was wrong with the meat it tasted spoiled. I called the store, and got some kid that was sarcatic, and offered no help. I called 3 times in 3 days and the manager never seems to be avaliable to talk. Turned them into corporate, only to be brushed off. This store is terrible.

(First time at Festus location - NEVER AGAIN) Will only put 6 sliced black olives on 6 inch or 12 sliced on 12 inch sandwich. Absolutely ridiculous! We asked for extra and we told that they are only allowed to do what the says formula says! And that they will get in trouble by the manager if they put any extra on the sandwich. I said I'll pay for extra they said sorry we can't. I will never go back to this location in Festus again. We get Subway at least twice a month and never had this happen before! I will never go to this location again!

Went there tonight 30 minutes before they closed. The ovens were off. I asked them if they could turn them on because I still had 30 minutes to order and the girl with glasses and brown hair set and I quote “we have a microwave”. The kid with red hair that was on shift was already mopping the floors and turning the open sign off which they are not allowed to do. You guys close at 9 o’clock, not 8:30, not 8:40. We all have jobs and we all wish they close sooner, but that doesn’t mean that you can just not do yours right. Some people are just getting off work and this is the only option available between 8 to 9 PM that isn’t fast food. I used to work at Subway and I know it doesn’t even take that long to close so just do your jobs right. I will be calling the manager.

Vegetarian options: Ask for extra pickles was told they can't do that because they have no way to ring up extra pickles. Mind you that's the only topping I get other than dressing. If your getting a bunch of toppings maybe but that's all I like.
I had asked for olives on my sandwich. Actually two of my sandwiches and on each sandwich was only received anywhere from 6 to 8 olives on each sandwich and when I asked for extra I got told that they are only allowed to do what the policy says. I said I'll pay for extra they said sorry we can't. I will never go back to this location in festus again
