Stopped in by myself for a seat at the counter amongst the newspapers after a morning at Loess Bluffs National Wildlife Refuge nearby. The pancakes, eggs, and bacon were solid, especially the pancakes. The coffee was a bit lukewarm and weak but I was supposed to give it up for Lent so I guess that was God having a laugh at me. Really liked the 70s playlist on shuffle that day, and listening to the conversation around me.
I love these old school diners in small town. Good food, friendly people and a good deal. I had the double cheese, onion and tomato were fresh and real (not store bought). I will be stopping here the next time I come through.
