We've been going to John's for 10+years on Fridays for their DELICIOUS Perch Special. We brought people from out of the area to John's to enjoy it with us as well.
The last few times we've gone they've served ABOUT half of the amount of Perch, which is disappointing, but what's even MORE disappointing is that we SWEAR they're using smaller plates to fool your mind. In all honesty, it probably wouldn't bother us if they cut the price as well(even by a buck to show his faith), but that didn't happen. Tonight my Perch was luke warm, at best.
I guess good things never last. It's disappointing.

The food and service are wonderful. Our problem is the smoking in there. I have asthma and it shuts down my breathing. We were with friends so we stayed this time, but we will not be back again.

When our party of five entered the restaurant, we were met with a wall of cigarette smoke. The atmosphere was so toxic, we left without ordering.

Didn't rat but saw pizza and it looked good. Had a group of 5 we just went for a couple of beers and conversation. The waitress was very friendly and always on top of our need for refills.

Johns Frosted mug is a unique experience how many places will you walk into and see your bar tender smoking a cigarette while behind the bar,
This place would be so much better if it just has a smoke free section

I love John’s Frosted Mug in Forsyth, Missouri . It is a 40 year tradition of Great Family, Friends, Food, Drinks and Times. Produkt honoring US Armed Forces. The totem pole I recently made for John that now sits on the front porch says all this.
Quite possibly the worst food I’ve eaten. This is bar food, it’s meant to be eaten by drunk people that will eat anything. The prices they charge for this bar food is crazy. I’d rather eat McDonald’s and I don’t ever eat McDonald’s.
