4/9/24Absolutely fantastic breakfast and service! Shaelyn was excellent despite being very busy. And the breakfast was delicious, somewhat similar to but possibly better than Waffle House. Worth going to Fredericktown Missouri for even without near-ideal eclipse viewing circumstances!

FOOD POISONING. Hollandaise sauce looked like cottage cheese, eggs with completely raw clear liquid pouring off the plate. Cook started yelling and got really mad that I couldn't eat chunky Hollandaise sauce. We almost walked out but the kids needed to eat I ordered something different in stead and now have FOOD POISONING. Was there around 5-6:45pm ish on Sunday. The server was nice I left a good tip for her, she got yelled at because I had to send the first order back. The cook seamed dangerous. I HAVE BEEN SICK SINCE LAST NIGHT!

Potatoes were horribly undercooked, basically wet potatoes noodles, half the party I was with didn't even eat their food. The server was nice and polite but the staff more or less disappeared after serving us and the cook was clearly rushing cooking even though we were only 1 of 2 tables in the restaurant.

During our 2 day stay in Fredericktown, we ate breakfast here both mornings. Food was SO good, similar to an old school diner. Our server was terrific. Also, you seat yourself when you walk in, which was a little confusing at first but overall we loved it here and really enjoyed the Huddle House.

Our server forgot to submit our order. After 45 minutes and a reminder from us, it was finally put in. Over an hour wait after ordering is unacceptable when the restaurant is only half full. When the server ran our credit card, she put a 20% tip on without asking us on a party of three. Also unacceptable. Huddle House in other locations are usually good.

We like Huddle House and think it gets a bum rap. The food is good and an okay price. They often don't have enough wait staff, so service can be slow. The ones there though, hustle.The carrot cake is outstanding. Give it a try.

I have been frequenting this place ever since i started doing restocks for a company in the southern missouri region. I usually get there when its really early and there is just a few customers so the service has always been super fast and extremely friendly. Its nice that the staff remembers their customers. They know me so much now they know what i drink and what i want before i tell them.As for the food. I have absolutely no complaints. There was one time they gave me sausage instead of bacon but it wasnt a big deal as they served up that crunchy bacon i love in no time. Everything is cooked just as ordered. Their grits got me hooked on grits and its sonething i eat regularly at home. I usually order the smokehouse platter. Its a lot of good food that will keep you going for a while.If you get a chance give em a try.
