Went to Fredericktown to visit friends and had dinner at The Depot Cafe. Absolutely incredible food. Do not skip appetizers! Well seasoned, great flavor, and perfect portion sizes. Not to mention that the staff are all welcoming, courteous, and attentive. Talk about a diamond in the rough. The Depot Cafe should be a must try on anyone going through town. Not to mention, it’s a great place to reconnect with old friends.

I haven’t been at The Depot in several years so we picked this place for lunch. The restaurant was clean, and our waiter greeted us very politely and quickly. He was very attentive, told us the specials and recommended a few choices. Our food came out hot and in a timely manner, it was a very relaxing lunch. The bathroom was also very clean and tidy. GPS took us straight there.

Joy offered efficient and warm service! There was jazz playing and completely unexpected. The pork chop trio with smashed potatoes, and candied carrots were delicious- served super fast and hot! The atmosphere here is cozy and elevated a former relic of the railway days turned into a great place to dine just off the beaten path. Oh, and that slice of Carrot Cake was 🔥!
