One of the best happy hour menus in town. Highly recommend.

The place is loud, as others have noted, but this didn't bother me. I was told it was the local gathering place and you can tell. I enjoyed all that. The problem is the food.

I ordered my filet mignon medium rare but it came out medium to medium well and was chewy. The asparagus had too much yellow and was bland. The mashed garlic potatoes were more like goo. The chocolate cake and creme brulee could have come from Schnucks.

I would have given it only two stars but I'm forgiving them a bit for it being New Year's Eve. Perhaps I shouldn't.

801 went above and beyond. I had brunch with my family on a Sunday. They were accommodating and the food was beyond amazing. I was I lived closer to have it more often. The sugar donut holes were better than I imagined - my favorite sauce was the vanilla creme anglaise. The house made ravioli weee incredible - the butternut squash was on the bottom, ricotta filled raviolis in the middle, and covered with a generous supply of wild mushrooms and hazelnuts topped with crispy sage. The absolute best! We split the beet salad with a large supply of greens and fresh red & golden beets. Others in my family thoroughly enjoyed the house-made linguine & shrimp, which was a generous size, as well as the ahi tuna like bowl, with super fresh veggies. Highly recommend coming here!

Parking: Parking lots for the restaurant, including accessible spots

Kid-friendliness: Several parties with kids, including a kids menu and kids cups

Wheelchair accessibility: Although there were wheelchair accessible parking spots, I had to walk up two steps to get to main dining. I do not know if there was another entrance that did not involve steps.

Came on a Saturday night and they were able to accommodate my family of 5 no wait at all which was so kind of them since they were very busy but we managed to squeeze in between reservation times. The apps were very good one of the best crab dips I’ve had. We had the prime rib, chicken piccata, and butternut squash ravioli. They were all super super good especially the ravioli. Then we had two desserts arguably one of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever had. Our server Misha went above and beyond the entire night and truly made the experience top notch as it was our first time in St. Louis. Highly recommend the restaurant and especially Misha. Best service ever.
Environment was slightly loud nothing out of the ordinary for a Saturday night.

Went with a party of 11, my salmon was awesome but a couple of the MR prime ribs were salty and a little tough. Overall a very good experience

5/5. Great atmosphere. Great service. Great food. Perfect for special occasion or a high end date night. Order the crab dip appetizer and lobster bisque.

Don't go there. Not worth it. Waitress tried to put extra things in the check. Food was cold and management did not showed value

I ordered the braised short rib. It came out with green beans and polenta. It tasted amazing! The sauce quality/amount was just perfect, and the rib was so soft - I could smoosh with fork easily. Seatings were a bit compact and the restaurant was too crowded, so not super ideal for big group but awesome for small gatherings!

The door can be tough to locate, but we found it without too much difficulty. The way the restaurant is situated, the door appears either to the south or northwest end of the building. It’s on the northwest (or left) side from the parking lot.

The wood wall, ceilings and old tavern charm has an upscale vibe. Everything was clean with no dust hanging out in this well kept spot.

The service was great, exactly what I expect when going to a nice restaurant.

Excellent food selection. It was tough to settle on an entree but I went with the caesar salad as an entree and salmon for the main course. Both were fantastic👌🏾!

Soup was cold. Prime rib sandwich needed more meat. French fries, burned & over cooked. Great disappointment for A good looking room. The food cost must be 10%. I guess it’s me I’m used to better.
Price high quality low. How does a restaurant get away with this?

We never even ordered. The restaurant is so loud it's not worth it. The wife and I had to yell to hear other across the table.

The service was great, the food was absolutely terrible. I don’t know if the kitchen was having an off night but we got the main specials the steak and the salmon and they were horrible. The worst steak I’ve had in at least the last five years. Way overpriced and not like other 801 establishments. The worst part was we chose to celebrate our anniversary here, by far the worst meal on a date ever.
