Ces and Judy's has catered our yearly merit scholars visit event at third-party venue for over a decade now. Our guest list includes many of the leaders from my work as well as 30 or so young people who tend to have many dietary limitations. We have enjoyed many of the excellent menu items available AND they are happy to adjust recipes to accommodate the needs of our guests. Dinner has always been ready at the scheduled time. And even when our program runs late, they manage to keep the food fresh and warm. The servers are cheerful and the staff are excellent communicators. From first contact to clean up, they have always made me look good.

So back to the drawing board and we found Ces & Judy's. Their menu looked great, their prices far more palatable, and their schedule open for a tasting. Candace and the team were so welcoming and accommodating, and we loved the food, so we decided on Ces & Judy's without even scheduling a tasting elsewhere.We chose the stuffed (sundried tomato, herb, cheese, and artichoke) chicken, Mediterranean salmon cakes, winter salad, honey balsamic brussels sprouts, green beans with caramelized onions, and carrot soufflé. (Candace convinced us to try the soufflé because it's chef's specialty, and we were floored by how much we loved it!) Our menu was phenomenal, and we heard from family and friends, unprompted, over and over again how much they loved the food. In fact, this review has taken us three months to write (sorry!), and people are still raving!Once our menu was decided, Darla was assigned to manage our event planning and oversee the wedding day. She and Candace are both excellent communicators and as warm and helpful as they are professional. The staff on our wedding day showed the same warmth and professionalism. In particular, we were impressed by the special care they showed toward two family members, one elderly and one with special needs.Many many thanks to Darla, Candace, and the whole Ces & Judy's team for being a huge part of our perfect day!

My mother has a wheat allergy and we were assured over and over again by the caterer that they knew how to safely prepare food for allergies. They assured me they would make her a separate wheat free plate for our wedding reception so that she could eat with all of us. They forgot to make her a meal. Since she hadn’t eaten all day she asked if there was anything in the buffet that she could eat and she was told by the staff that it was all safe for her to eat. She did and she was ill for our whole wedding reception. This is my mother! This day was as special for her as it was for me and they “forgot” to feed her. And then made her sick by lying about how the buffet was safe for her. Ridiculous. Thankfully she had her epipen or my wedding day would have also been the day I lost my mama.

Ces & Judy's was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We worked directly with Candace and she was simply incredible. I am a wedding planner by profession, so having someone there to answer all the questions and review the details was something that was important to me when picking a caterer. Candace provided that and so much more! She answered every single email and phone call in a timely fashion and with helpful information & suggestions every single time. The tasting was exceptional as well, but the food on wedding day was BEYOND our expectations. Everything was hot, fresh, and timely to our guests, a 10/10. Every single one of our guests was raving about the meal the rest of the night. We are so thankful for Candace, the servers, and the entire Ces & Judy's team!!!!

Hired for our daughters wedding one month ago at Stone House. Will first say, the food was excellent and everyone raved about it. Originally worked with Candace. She was great until it required her to answer emails. Specifically mine (the mom). I had overpaid and was told I would receive refund after event. One month later and I am having to request information. Second and almost bigger issue is that Ruth was our go to for the evening. At the end of the evening we asked about the remaining food and was told that there was nothing left. It had all been eaten because people went back for seconds. Hard to believe that NOTHING was left. Not even rolls. My daughter and I were both told this. Come to find out, they are not allowed to pack it up and send home so they donate to shelters. No issue with this, just would have been nice to know that this is why and would have been nice to know that my daughter could have requested food to take for herself. Poor communication on that. And the fact that it is now "so sorry can't do anything for you on that" attitude is not a great attitude

Their service is excellent and they were extremely communicative and organized throughout the entire process. Ces and Judy were the preferred caterers for our daughter’s wedding this past weekend at Stone House of St. Charles. The food was outstanding! We enjoyed butler passed appetizers, a full buffet and late night “So St. Louis” snacks! We had so many people comment to us on how delicious the food was! Thanks to Bailey, Jessica, Amanda and Darla who helped us create the amazing menu and made things run smoothly. Highly recommend Ces and Judy’s!

The shower was a huge success thanks to Kara, Delores and her team and the wonderful chefs that prepared the food! Planning a wedding is hard. Planning one during a pandemic is even harder. About three months before our big day, our original caterer told us that they could not keep their contract due to the pandemic. Our hearts sank, and then the panic set in. Fortunately for us, when we called Ces & Judy’s, just hoping that they had a spot open on our day, not only were they incredibly friendly, but they worked with us to set up a new contract and delivered it the next day. They managed to give our parents a tasting (we did not live in the area) quickly and made sure we had a fantastic menu. Their support during such a trying time warrants 5 stars. Not only did they ensure we had a caterer, but the food and service were also exemplary. They ensured that the service during our wedding was safe and enjoyable in spite of the pandemic. Additionally, not even the pickiest of eaters at our reception had anything to complain about. At one point, one of our guests asked to buy the last tray of Ces & Judy’s carrot souffle to take home...fortunately for us, they said no and gave us the leftovers! We cannot praise Ces and Judy’s enough - the food was beyond impressive, the service was award-worthy, and the attention to detail was immaculate. In all honesty, I’m glad our original caterers dropped out, because, otherwise, we would not have had such a perfect evening.

We have booked Ces & Judy’s for our wedding, have been to a generic tasting that was delicious, and are eagerly waiting a personalized tasting for our wedding menu.We’ve worked with Kara and she has been very helpful, knowledgable, and so kind!We need a 100% gluten free menu, we mentioned this in our initial email asking for info, and before we ever talked for the first time, Kara and the head chef confirmed that any and all menu items could be adapted to be gluten free. This is amazing! I would highly recommend Ces & Judy’s for any catering needs - their rockstar female led, and nearly completely run company is the greatest and their food is some of the best I’ve ever had!

Warmest hearts and best experience you'll have with catering in this city. We've worked with many caterers in our 18 years. This team is wonderful. They're passionate, work extremely hard to ensure everyone is beyond satisfied, and operate with an extreme sense of humility. Case and point - There was a sweet lady outside Maison Du Lac sweeping leaves and down on her hands and knees tidying up the venue..... we briefly shook hands and exchanged smiles. Later that evening, Bailey and I were chatting inside the venue. I pointed out the lady that had been busting her butt outside and Bailey exclaimed "Oh that's Judy, the owner!" Perhaps a small example, but an important lesson, nonetheless, that no one is above anything. Their business is personal to them. Their entire team works collaboratively to ensure clients, vendors, family, friends and even that Uncle that no one likes, feel like they're welcome.... they help create such an incredible environment where people come together for a small moment in time to create memories that last a lifetime.- Utopia Entertainment Team
