Mariposa

So expensive for the worst service. No one cleared plates or filled water. So slow to receive food and to get bill. One table left and just out cash down bc they never got bill. Manager was useless. He kept telling us he'd tell our server and we told him that we haven't seen our server for over 20 minutes. UPDATE: Neil, the manager, followed up. He was off the day we went. It was just an off day and I will go again. He was so apologetic and takes pride in the restaurant. I will be going again and I'm sure will give a much higher rating. Everyone I know loves Mariposa and I will not let one off day spoil it for me especially with a manager who really cares.

The ambiance was very warm and welcoming. Marquise our server was most knowledgeable and helpful. No one rushed or hurried us. The food was excellent and we were impressed that chef took time at the end of our meal to come by our table and have a conversation. We will surely be back!

I wanted a restaurant that gave ladies lunch. it succeeded and was a lovely time for my friend and I I will go back

I wanted to treat my daughter to lunch and have always bragged about my past experiences. We both ordered the burger and neither of us were impressed. It was just okay. I'll definitely go back to my usual choices from now on.

Buffy our server is the best! Loved the Asian chicken salad and the dressing let the chef know.

My husband and I enjoy dining at Mariposa. We do so often. Both alone or with family and friends we are never disappointed. It's been surprising to me how many people don't know about the restaurant. It's been fun to introduce people to Mariposa for their first visit. Chef does a masterful job of making sure that menu's selections are delicious, and served with a nice presentation. The staff is very dedicated that guests enjoy their meals. We hope your experience is as positive as ours.

I go to Mariposa for the food, which is excellent. The service is great too. The menu is interesting and the food is delicious. However, there are no windows in the main dining room and the bank gets opposite a chair for a table of two are really not my favorite at all.

Often it's hard to find someplace special to go for lunch. This is a place that is always perfect. I'm guilty almost always ordering the same thing. But if I could, I would probably just eat a plate of popovers! I'm sure I'm not the only one!

I think of it as a hidden gem. Popovers with strawberry butter and the Demitasse of chicken broth is a special touch, try finding it at another restaurant. Service is on point and the food is delicious. The Chef stopped by our table to see how everything was, much appreciated. Our server was excellent, very knowledgeable and helpful.

Everything was great, but where is Buffy? I don't think I've ever eaten there without her waiting on me?

The trio was perfect soup, salad and chicken salad sandwich for those who can't choose just one. Did not like sitting so close to another couple. Would have liked to be able to engage in a private conversation without being aware others could hear Our server was excellent. Brought special dessert for birthday Made this a very special occasion

The service was absolutely terrible! Would not recommend. The tables were not cleaned for at least an hour after people left. The walls are dirty and the menus have stains on them. The food took a long time and it was lack luster at best. The ambiance is so generic and could be used better.
