Excellent breakfast, something for everyone!

Unusual place where you can write on the walls. The menu is creative.

Vanna White was great. Very friendly spot.

Always seems to be a bit of a wait, but the food is good and the scrawled-on walls and booths are fun. Gluten-free pancakes and paper crowns for the win!

Great experience

Omelet and pancakes undercooked. Kids cup of chocolate milk costs as much as a 1/2 gallon from store. Food not that great. Won’t be back. Very loud in restaurant too. A lot of shouting.

Maybe the first thing to note, if you want breakfast or brunch on the weekend go early or be prepared to wait. However it's worth the wait. Expansive breakfast menu and maybe the best all around brunch in STL. Great bloody Marys and awesome breakfast food with silly names. Even when crowded the service here is always solid and friendly. Maybe the only knock is it's a hair pricey for breakfast food, but still worth it.

Parking: Big lot, easy to get around but can get crowded

Kid-friendliness: The kids pancake is enough to feed 2 adults. Super kid friendly

This place would be a lot better if they made the decor nice and got rid of the graffiti. I think if you pay $15 for pancakes, you deserve a decent place to eat them in. I probably won't be back.

I visited the area last year and had a Shack Experience. It was once again a great experience. The pancakes were huge and very good. My waiter Trevor did an excellent job making sure everything was right.
Once again I highly recommend SHACK.
