We showed up today at 1:30 tried to sit down but the hostess was nowhere to be found. Waited about five minutes and she finally acknowledged us and said “hey it’s gonna be a about 15 minutes before I can sit you”. when asked why she didn’t have any excuse and said have a nice day. Well uncle Julio you can have a nice day as well! We will never be coming back

The portion size was more than enough. Samuel our setver was attentive and gave good customer service. The manager Humberto was always checking to see if we needed any thing.

The fajitas are pretty good and at a decent price. Black beans are delicious. Complementary chips and salsa are good. Atmosphere is dim, chill

I love Marley Dockman the best hostess in the world. She made this fire tableside guac and put a real heart into it while entertaining us simultaneously. I think this Chica deserves a raise.

I had the most wonderful experience at Uncle Julio’s. The flavor was spectacular. We had Melvin as our server and I couldn’t say enough great things about him. He had a great attitude and always made sure we were taken care of. Food came out in extraordinary timing. I was in-love with the fresh traditional tortillas. Will be coming back !

We loved Uncle Julios when they first opened. It saddens me to leave this review but I feel people and the Managers should know.

We sat down, place was fairly empty. Ordered drinks right away and tableside guacamole. They came out and made that first, took forever to make it and we did not get our drinks until about 15 minutes after ordering them after the guacamole was served.
Food took about 30 minutes for one order of Fajitas, the Veggies were still raw and so were the tortillas.
The homemade tortillas are my favorite part. They were still doey! I pointed it out to the Manager making tortillas, she proceeded to tell me they are not raw. I showed her the tortilla, (pulled it apart, long doey strings) she said she would remake them. Proceeded to bring out more uncooked tortillas. Still have flour on them, does, raw center,I mean clearly uncooked.
Rice was cold, chips were old.....

We paid for our meal and left. Our plates still had all the food on it and not once were we approached and asked how the food was or why we did not eat any of our food.

I hope Uncle Julios manages to turn around. Hopefully it was one bad experience, but from the other recent reviews, it does not look like it.

Ps: stomach hurts from raw tortillas.

The food was delicious. The service, however, was VERY slow. There were not many customers there, and it looked like they had three servers, but it took a long time for food and the piñata to be delivered, even though I told our waiter when we got there that we wanted a piñata. I like to give good reviews, however, unfortunately, I don’t think we will return.

I will start by saying I emailed their website contact a week ago about my experience before going to review.
We had a reservation at 6:45pm on 12/24 for 13 people (4 children). We were seated on time and every adult ordered a drink and a few appetizers. After everyone placed their entree orders I left to go to my car to get something, when I returned the doors were locked. I saw a sign saying they closed at 7pm but the restaurant was full of patrons. I only had my keys so I had to bang on the door for several minutes and no one saw me. I had to walk down to the Togo door to get the bar tender’s attention so I could get back inside the restaurant. We slowly started getting our food and two family members ordered their second drinks (7:30pm). After 10+ minutes with no drinks they asked again, the waiter then returned saying they shut the bar down and didn’t tell him, so no one else at our table was able to order alcohol and 8 of us had planned on ordering more, as we had one had one drink. The restaurant was still full, patrons were sitting in the bar area, large parties of families still eating dinner. My MiL had also told our waiter we when arrived that we would be ordering two chocolate piñatas for dessert, we were told at 7:50 the kitchen would not make them. Overall, we were dumbfounded that a restaurant would allow a reservation at 6:45, but shut down parts of the restaurant so patrons could not order. Our poor waiter lost out on a good amount of money he could have made with a major increase in our bill.

Food was delicious but service was extremely slow. They're probably overwhelmed and don't have enough help. But I had to flag someone down just to get some water after being seated for a good 15 minutes

We come about once a week, we love the shrimp salad, the soup and steak fajitas. Came in last night, Waited over 40 minutes for uncooked churros - the batter was leaking everywhere. We also try to give grace- but after waiting that long and having uncooked churros was a lot. On top of this, we were charged extra for taco night when our daughter didn’t eat them. We felt like the waiter tried his best, but we were not happy with the service we received .
