The building is nice, but the food and service were just not it. Probably understaffing for the service?
But the salsa was overly smoky (trust me I love a little smoke in my salsa, but as an undertone - this salsa was all smoke), the queso was runny and came with an odd side of what I think may have been peppers - I say think - because they were charcoal. I’m guessing these were meant to be hot with a little fire to roast them - but they were incinerated.
The main dishes were ok, typical chain quality Mexican fare - but for a chain labeled as upscale, I would expect a little more.

Food was pretty good, not outstanding for the price. Thought it would be fun to get guacamole made at the table. No interaction with the table it sits up high so the kids couldn't see it. It was nice and fresh but bland. Had to ask for salt to help it out. Quest was good salmon was real good.

We visited on 10/23/25 at 5:30PM for dinner and it took 15 minutes to be greeted by the server, another 10-15 minutes to receive our margaritas, another 10-15 to get water. We ordered food at about 5:45PM, and by 6:40PM we still had yet to receive it.
We left without eating anything but chips. Absolutely abysmal service and we will not be returning. Do not recommend eating here, go somewhere else. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

We went for a celebration (and to try the chocolate pinata). The food was pretty good. The chips and salsa reminded me of Chevy's. The tableside guac was really good. I had the spicy pina and it was quite spicy. The chocolate pinata was worth getting. But... holy smokes the service was insanely slow. Like, really slow. It wasn't super busy so I'm not sure why it was so slow other than understaffed? Service definitely could use an improvement.

First water was pouring in through the roof in numerous locations.
We were sat in a secluded area and our server who was training another server. He dashed in spoke so fast we had to ask him several times to repeat himself. He was rarely in to even get our order. The overall service was horrible. We had to ask for everything we wanted or needed. Sides did not match what we ordered and when we asked for the right item, it did not arrive till we were nearly done. We were rarely checked up on and would have consumed more cocktails racking up the bill, without service we were left with empty glasses and beer bottles. The table did not get bussed throughout our meal, we just stacked our dishes.
One thing, the food was quite good, it's a shame, we will not return.

We are there for lunch. Not too busy. No one was around to greet me. We waited for 5-10 min before someone came to our table to say hi. I think the staff was busy in the back; again not too many customers at the time. I got up to find help to order. The bartender was rude and simply said “what do you want?”
We ordered too different dishes beef fajita and skirt steak but they came out looking very similar. I asked the waitress about the menu but the waitress said she doesn’t eat meat so she doesn’t know the difference.

I will start by saying this has been a very negative experience. We had a large group of 12 people and made reservations a week in advance for Saturday evening for a birthday party. Even with reservations we waited 20+ minutes to be seated and another 20+ minutes with no contact from anyone. We got up and left to go next door to Flemings steakhouse where they had our group seated within a couple minutes and provided a great experience. That said we decided to make new reservations for uncle Julio’s for Tuesday evening to try again because we heard the food was good. This was a big mistake again. I have had better service at McDonald’s 5 minutes before closing time. The management was even worse, very bad. As the wait staff struggled the manager did nothing and walked by to sit at an empty table multiple times. The manager never offered assistance or guidance to help struggling staff. After finally getting manager to come over we noticed him being disrespectful and yelling at wait staff where other customers could hear and see. We will never return. This was a horrible experience.

Food was delicious ,service was slow I was the last one out of 12 to get my food late. Took forever to pay. My friend had a horrible birthday celebration, had a beer poured it down or back.
The manager was not out there helping out with the table, didn’t come by and ask us everything ok.

Worst experience ever. They are under staffed and shouldn't book party's if their unable to service them. Manager is horrible who watches their staff struggle and goes an hides in back room. I'd leave 0 stars if I could.

Hello, I have tried this location twice and the food was horrible both times. I was excited we were getting a location since I ate at the one in Naperville. I was disappointed the 1st and 2nd time. My food came out lukewarm and not good. This place needs help!
The food was average. The waitress said they were short staffed, which probably affected our experience. Two separate orders of fajitas were not sizzling when delivered. One person's hard taco was soggy on one side. None of the food was hot, only warm.
