Super disappointed with hoshi tonight. Ordered 2 California rolls just to get 1 only paid for 1. Paid for 2 orders of crab Rangoon. Got home realized that both orders of crab Rangoon was missing. Called and ordered another California roll and said I was missing my crab Rangoons. Went back paid for another roll and only got 1 order of crab Rangoon. I called to let them know. Not once did they apologize just said they would refund that one order of crab Rangoon. They used to be so good and now I’m just super disappointed. Won’t be ordering from them for a while.

My friend was the one that picked up our food, and had to wait for 40 minutes. Surprise,surprise, our food was COLD, and the rice was HARD and BURNT.

If I could I would get my money back.

Edit: in reply to the owner. Yeah why would myself and my friend come it and wair ANOTHER 40 minutes. Smh

Ordered in person when Noone was here. Waited 7 minutes and then a large group of girls basketball players came in, it has been 12 since then. Some of the people AFTER ME have gotten their food.
My order was over 50 bucks, for the sheer price of the food I would expect better service and abilities from the staff.

While standing and waiting you really got a feel for how STICKY and gross the floor is.

It took 40 minutes for me to get my food.

Never coming back unless major changes are made.

As someone who has had authentic sushi, this is lacking. I get its in the midwest but almost everything roll has thr EXACT same things inside which very little difference. NO variety on the menu, which is odd because it has so many items but it's all the same.

Nice little hole in the wall. I've never been a huge lover of Japanese cuisine, but a co-worker recommended this place, and I was very surprised. Stake is tender, cooked to a perfect medium well. The sauce they cook the veggies in is delicious. Kani salad is tasty. I have to go for the boxes, because the bowls provide way too much rice.

Their food never disappoints. It's always delicious. Their dining room is a bit uninviting, but most of their business is carryout. I suggest checking your order before leaving. I have been shorted some items the past two times without realizing it until I got home. Once, I didn't know until I opened the main course meal. It's obvious being busy caused the mistakes, but in their defense, when a restaurant is that busy, you know they are making delicious food, and it can be a bit chaotic so check your order. My only real complaint is they won't take payments over the phone, so I can't pay if I need someone else to pick up for me, which causes me to use a different restaurant on that occasion and my craving for their food doesn't get satisfied. All the workers I've encountered are friendly and polite.

We love eating at Hoshi but lately the service we have received from the girl with the glasses working the register is incredibly frustrating. We have zero issues with any other cashier except for her. Each time we come in she is disrespectful and this last time she tossed our food onto the counter like she couldn't care less. I ask for extra spicy mayo for my order and every time without fail she rolls her eyes and goes "No you can't but you can get it on the side" very rudely. I understand having a bad day but this happens every time we interact with her. All of the other cashiers are great, we just get very disappointed every time we walk in and she's there.

I rarely write reviews, but my recent visit to Hoshi was so disappointing that I felt compelled to share my experience. My wife is vegetarian and was inquiring about the advertised Veggie Bento Box. We were thrown off because the menu says it comes with: rice/veggies, 2 piece spring roll, and 4 pc california roll (NOT vegetarian) OR kani salad (NOT vegetarian). We asked the gentleman if the kani salad was veggie and he said yes - we then looked at the menu and it said it was crab (so not vegetarian gotcha.) We then asked if we could substitute the California roll for a vegetarian roll. It was obvious he was getting annoyed and replied back with "I don't make the buttons I just push the buttons and I follow the rules." Instead of a simple no, or making recommendations like anyone with basic customer service skills, instead he replied back with a condescending tone and an unnecessary remark. I understand he doesn't make the menu, but all he had to say was a simple "No, I apologize." If this place expects customers to pay premium for the food, we should get BASIC customer service. We feel extremely disrespected and will not return. Rude customer service and people wonder why businesses don't last in Fulton.

Good food. Terrible placement of to go orders. Its disgusting watching 3 customers within minutes, walk in and finger through the to go orders. Especially when you find out, one is yours.
