Didn't care for the scrambled eggs. They were frozen then cooked. Sausage patty was cold. Link sausage was very good. Biscuits and sausage gravy was very good. Everything else a was good.very clean place.
Always have a great experience here. Big place so it's not overly crowded. Great selection and friendly staff. I like that they have a little shop section and I can look for meats and wines.
Delicious food and everyone working there was so nice. Great customer service. We ate dinner, tried samples and bought some sausage and jams.
We have been a little worried about this restaurant, because there are rarely many other customers. They need to advertise more! We have always been pleased with the food and service, and tonight was no exception. I got a pork tenderloin sandwich with a perfectly baked potato. The tenderloin was huge, very tender, and delicious. My husband got a hamburger with all the trimmings, and homemade fries. Very filling and good. We weren't SO filled up we couldn't share a piece of their carrot cake. YUM! Server was very friendly & attentive, cost was reasonable. Very good place to eat.
Right off 54 with a nice gravel parking lot. Clean dining room and bathrooms. Not very busy, 2 other couples when we arrived and a party of 6 who left when we did. Our party of 8 all had something different and we all committed on the taste of the food. It was very tasty. My wife had a meager 5 onion rings. She wondered if they could spare them. She also had the pulled pork sandwich and thought it was very tasty, if a bit small.I had the whole hog sandwich with a plate of fries. (My wife was jealous.) Another friend had the pulled pork nachos and really liked them.My wife and I had dessert; she had coconut cream pie and I had carrot cake. We both thought they were excellent. The waitress was very nice and kept up with us throughout the meal. Plus, after we ate we were able to sit around the table and talk until closing. Even after we paid she kept our drinks coming. We had a good experience and would go back again.
Very enjoyable. Service very good. Food was one of the better places we've been. Nice they have a patio so we can take our dog. Look forward to going back.
All you can eat fish and shrimp.
The food has never been great but decided to give it another try due to it being one of the few restaurants open on a Sunday. Almost made my family turn around at the door when we saw what I feel an ignorant sign posted. Went ahead and ate there. The grilled chicken was dried out and flavorless, mashed potatoes/gravy extremely salty and chips were stale. Our waitress was fine. We don't plan on ever going back.
Limited menu on Mondays but the pulled pork nachos were fabulous! We bought several pounds of bacon and sausage from the meat market as well. Very friendly and hard working staff.
They were really supportive for our event. The BBQ was kept delicious and hot for hours. The kids had fun running around the upstairs space.

Staff very nice and professional, big clean areas to sit. Nice being able to shop and drink my coffee ?Meat cases wasn't full , understandable due to covid, but still plenty to choose from. All you can eat buffet was reasonably priced and the taste of each item was good, would have loved to seen the set up before covid.

Smoked pulled pork was amazing, and baked beans. Ribs were really good also. Great food and great service. Also, we had our dog with us and we were able to bring her and eat outside and the staff took good care of her.A perfect meal to end our trip!
The ribs and brisket were delicious!!! Cooked to perfection. We were here 4 years ago and were disappointed the the doggie menu was discontinued. Also the cabbage in the cole.slaw was old and brown, yet another disappointment. Finally, the okra was excellent!
This is a very large place, but it’s combined with a meat market/store at the other end. Dining room is very attractive, clean & well-lit. Menu offers all the varieties of meat and combinations that you could want. We got one with pulled pork, pulled brisket, & something else (maybe ham? I forget! But I’m old…) Came with a baked potato and everything was cooked to perfection & beautifully presented. Staff was friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely go back again.
When this place first opened it was great, they always had a good selection of fresh local meats at a fair price from the butcher counter. As of late their selection has become very slim and the quality of meet has become questionable. The last time I was there I purchased a family pack of pork steaks from the not frozen counter. When I got home to prepare the meat I quickly noticed a strong sulfur smell from meat when I opened the package, I wanted to believe this was just the vacuum packaging as the package date indicated the meat was only 4 days old and looked fine, but once I removed the steaks I noticed the pork was very slimy and sticky to the point my hands were completely slick after handling meat. I rinsed and dried the steaks only to find the smell and slimy feel continued to exist. For safety, "When in doubt throw it out" , especially when it comes to pork. I had to make the hard call to toss the steaks as I was feeding a family! This was not the first time I have received questionable meat from this butcher. If you intend on shopping here just be sure to use good judgment. Its better to be cautious then get food poisoning or worst put a family member in the hospital!
