Absolutely a hidden gem! Being picky about our BBQ (my husband has been in the business for almost 3 decades) & owning our own sauce company (SemperFI Sauces LLC) If you want REAL BBQ this is it. Haven’t had food like this within at least a 100 miles. Yum!
After showing a property in Gainesville, (I always take advantage of trying a new place when showing), we thought we’d try Smoking Joe’s. I’m glad we did, the food was very tasty! We shared the brisket dinner and a half order of ribs. They were both tender, I probably preferred the brisket myself. Sweet potato fries and fries were good and so were the smoked beans! The waitress was very pleasant and helpful, kept our drinks refilled. Owner(?) was very friendly and was visiting...
My family and I visited Smoking Joe's BBQ today, upon entering the restaurant we were greeted with very friendly staff, seated and served immediately.The food was exceptional, absolutely delicious.I highly recommend this restaurant10/10
