Our visit was actually a couple months ago (Fathers Day, I believe). The establishment was clean, service was friendly and the food was sufficient.
I ordered a Rueben and waffle fries. My partner ordered bacon cheeseburger and tots. Everything came quickly. The food was ok, not great.
It was a little inconvenient to get cash rather than pay by card. We normally notice that (sign on door, etc), but we didn’t see anything. We double checked when we left, and didn’t see a notice. They do have an atm inside and the fees weren’t bad. It was just an aggravation more than anything.
Would we try again?
Yea, if circumstances were right, but we probably wouldn’t go out of our way to.

It was a quaint small town feel. But the food was very basic and not much flavor. Good pricing.

The Riverbend Restaurant in Glasgow, Missouri embodies everything you would expect from a small-town café. The nostalgic atmosphere evokes simpler days, making it a cozy spot to enjoy a meal. Breakfast is definitely our favorite time to visit, and the menu offers a fantastic variety of options.
The service was friendly and attentive, with my coffee cup never running dry—always a plus! The portions were generous, and the pancakes were delightfully fluffy. While it isn’t a fancy place, it’s just right for what you need: good food and a warm environment. Overall, Riverbend Restaurant is a charming spot that captures the essence of small-town dining and is well worth a visit!

Beautiful restaurant. The owner is a cornerstone of the community, and makes the breakfast to match.
Amazing selection, lunch and dinner items are quality, but if you're at the Riverbend you're ordering breakfast. You simply have to! It's available all day long after all :)
I gave 4/5 for ~atmosphere~ not because of the actual atmosphere (this place is known for it's historical wall pictures and hangings, you can't be bored if you're here) but because of the booth I sat in. I think the particular spring powered booth I occupied had long since given out, and the darn thing basically ate me lol If it's not too busy, be selective about where you sit.
Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options but you have to ask the wait person. I would recommend the omelets! Good quality veggies, and also high in protein :) No vegan options though?
Parking: Free street parking in downtown Glasgow. I suppose it may fill up on Saturday or Sunday, but there's got to be at least 20-30 usable spaces.

We weren't super impressed. Granted, we were there right before they closed. The food was good. The history on the walls was really cool. Service was good. But, I really hate having to go to an atm to get cash to pay for my food. I hardly carry cash, and if there is some sign, i am either prepared or I don't go there. Ruined the whole experience. It would be different if this were the 80s
Biscuits and Gravy was nasty. None of it was homemade. It all tasted like a can. Will never eat here again.
