I have lived in KC for almost 10 years now, having moved from Arizona, I have been on a desperate search for great Mexican food. This will be my go to from this point forward. The red enchilada sauce and beans tasted like they were house made, not from a can. My Chili Relleno had REAL cheese, not the fake processed white velveeta I get from other places and the salsa does not taste or look like marinara!
Called in order said it would be 15 minutes. Got there in 20 minutes Had to wait an additional 15 minutes with only one customer in restaurant. Ordered hard shell tacos, they wrapped them in foil. What a soggy mess when I opened them 10 minutes later.
We loved this place! You get a ton of food for great prices. The food is really, really good and the atmosphere is fun. We had avoided it for years because we thought it was Tex-Mex and we prefer Mex Mex, but we won't avoid this place any more!
