Was my first time for a 🎂 🎉. And a comedian dropped by. It was a good time. Will most definitely go back.
We went here last night we ordered our 1st round drinks from the waitress it came to $16.00 for 2 Tito’s and tonic. Next round we got from the bar same drinks but charged $26.00 for 2 drinks?? We didn’t realize the price gouging until we got back to our table. it was too packed to go back to bar. So take this as a warning of PRICE GOUGING. My Next complaint the Turkey Melts are nothing but a grill cheese sandwich with 2 thin slices of turkey meat plus fries, for $12.00 we were very dissatisfied with that also. If we return we’ll be more alert!!!

I love this little club. Age appropriate. Perfect for slow dancing, good drinks and fantastic wings.
Parking: Peats place is one of the places within a strip mall so there's plenty of parking

This used to be a fun place to dance, 2 step, drink, and eat good food. Recently it seems the owner is following the recommendations of one of his over zealous DJ's and implementing things that push away clientele. They recently canceled 2 step Fridays for a ghetto hood comedy show that seemed to be constructed by "Pookie and his homeboys". They made several ladies stand outside in the cold waiting for the show to end. Sunday was the best day to 2 step. I looked forward to attending when I am in town. The owner then instituted a strict dress code for males. No sneakers, t shirts, sweat suits, pants under your waist, etc. This of course reduces male attendance. The only person following that requirement is "the good reverend". I won't be back.Response to owner:You clearly have me confused with another dissatisfied patron. I have never met you. I just recently moved to Missouri. Further, yes you are correct, the 2 stepping did resume after the "comedy show"... uh...there was 2 people dancing. Instead of spending so much energy clapping back to loyal, paying customers (of which I spend over $100 every time I visit), instead spend that energy appealing to your patrons and motivating their return. And no sir I have never insulted YOU, I only spoke to the facts of your policy as they have been presented. Your flipped and harsh response does not help you. It's so sad to see this approach from a Black small business owner. You might instead question where I received the intimate information about your establishment, not being from this area. Good luck to you sir.2nd Response to owner:Pete, I generally do not spend this much time going back and forth but you have said some things that are not true and question my character, of which I take great offense. Sir you said I was "problematic" and "confrontational"? Wow. Explain to me what I have ever done in your club that was "problematic". Detail what I did that was "confrontational". Sir I NEVER said "people do not come to your club" because firstly I would not have that level of information not being from the area. What I said was "this could deter people from wanting to attend". Further, I have not had enough conversation, with you, to exercise anything defined as "condescending".I am extremely disappointed in your reactions. All I did was question the dress code. And quite frankly I didn't hold the conversation with YOU. You just happened to walk outside when I was talking. I spoke to a very nice gentleman, your uncle, and DJ Yellow. And upon the advisement of your uncle, I returned to your club the following week with 7 sorority sisters that were visiting the area (continuing to support your "27 year old Black owned business"), although I had dissatisfaction with the new policy. According to your definition, that would be classified as a "loyal customer".As a fellow business owner, I would have expected you to instead respond to my review: apologizing for my dissatisfaction, detailing why the policy is in place, and what other things you have in the pipeline that I may find of interest. But you instead throw fire on the flame by responding to me "you promise"...you will not return. Really Sir? Sir, people have the right to express their opinion about how they spend their time and money. And if you think my response to the dress code is "silly" then why do you have it?? You can continue to spit venum towards me in your responses. I'm going to take the high road and not respond further. In the event I am ever back at your business I would love to have a conversation in hopes of DEESCALATING the issue. Take care Pete.
