Providence Pizza Grandview

We called in an order that would be ready in 15 minutes, we arrive 25 minutes later, wait another 30 minutes in the restaurant only to be told it won’t be ready for another 20 minutes.
Since change of ownership, I will no longer be going here. Horrible service, pizza has been burnt last 2 times, they got rid of all their specials, and poor management.

I don’t normally complain but enough is enough. I’ve been coming here for a long time and in that time I have watched the service and quality of food fall apart, this evening was the last straw. I tried to order a large Detroit half pepperoni half pepperoni jalapeño the same thing we get every time, I’m told we can only order a small now. OK, I get it maybe people don’t want the large size anymore. Then I’m told they can’t add toppings to half of that. All right, so I just ordered a small whole pepperoni, fairly simple, the place isn’t busy. I sit there for an hour waiting on this pizza thinking maybe they’ve got a bunch of call-in orders ahead of me. At the hour mark I go up to the counter, which I’ve been sitting in front of and ask how much longer it’s gonna be only to find out that it’s been sitting in the heating rack for 45 minutes. Guy working the oven was laughing at the counter girl after she checked on it. The place was fairly empty and not once during the time that I sat there did anyone come up to check and see what I was waiting on and I believe the owner walked past me a handful of times. I don’t normally get bent out of shape over silly things like this, but it’s an hour of my life I won’t get back after a long day. The service has gone down the drain… I’ll say it is the last time we’ll be getting a pizza from here though we loved it at one point.

What is going on with the phone? Nobody answers you press 2 and are required to leave a voicemail. Just trying to see what slices are available…. Should not be this difficult.

There was literally only 2-3 tiny sausages per slice on my sausage pizza. The taste isn’t horrible but I’ve definitely had better. Will not eat here again.

This is my favorite Pizza spot in KC! the pizza is amazing no matter which style you order. I did have an issue yesterday where the cashier lady, mid to late 20's I imagine was fairly rude. She rolled her eyes at us not once but twice and was telling us how she didn't want to be there. Everyone else there had a good friendly vibe about them but she made the atmosphere and ordering process seem bad. I understand shes probably tired but Providence should probably find a new employee.

BLUF: I had multiple coupons available to use but wasn’t able to use them because the app was down, tried calling ahead, number provided didn’t work, had to drive to restaurant order in person, wait, and still had my order screwed up (burned and missing ingredients).

Hello. Providence Pizza is my favorite place to get good pizza in the KC metro,
We wanted to get a few for the Chiefs game Friday night and tried using the Toast App.

The toast app wasn’t working, so I tried the number on provided by the google searxh.
I tried calling 6 times and it kicked immediately to voicemail each time.

We drove to the restaurant and there was only 1 other customer in the store. We ordered our 50+ dollar order- all the while the lady behind the counter was talking to people on the phone- to the extent that they spaced out another persons order and had to be remade while they waited.

After waiting about 25 minutes we got our food- my pizza was missing ingredients and it was burned.

I really hope this was a one off but left the restaurant not feeling great about making th effort to pay those prices again for such a lackluster delivery.

My FAVORITE pizza in KC. And it's not really even close. BUT - everything else disappoints.
Some diner tips:
1. Any time quoted for pickup is at least 10min early. If you arrive at your pickup time, you will wait AT LEAST 10min.
2. The space is so sad. Kind of like they finished half the building and left the rest as open storage, so you can dine with a view of all their junk. Always weird elevator music. Zero charm or ambiance. Fix this, I beg you. Hospitality doesn't have to be expensive.
3. They do not sell gift cards in their restaurants. Online only. But you will not find the link on their website as it's hidden behind online ordering. On the non-mobile site, you *might* then notice it in the top corner. Mobile site, you will not find it as it's hiding behind the hamburger menu. I want to share your delicious pizza. Help me.

The people are always kind and helpful. The pizza is out-of-this-world. I just dream of a day when the experience they offer matches the quality of their pizza.

The pizza was pretty good but 1 salt Shaker for the whole restaurant. Most of my food was already ate by the time I could get it from a table that left then a lady had to come and ask me if I was done with it so she could use it

Great pizza. Had a Detroit Pepperoni. Ate it there. Dining area not so great but good enough. It's hard to find a Detroit Pizza. We will be coming back.
