Amazing food, service and beer!

Huge fan of the beer and the atmosphere here. The food is very expensive though. Bartender was so nice and recommend some great beers. I absolutely recommend coming here to enjoy a beer or two!

Nice little place but didn't even know it was there and I've lived about a mile from there for almost 2 years.

This place has a cool vibe and a great kitchen attached (The Chive). Love when they have live music.

The beer is just ok and the service is usually terrible/very, very slow.

This is Transparent 4 th year anniversary,
Staff is super nice and the beer is excellent, I was here three years ago and Tim was the manager here, I was at patio, Tim came out and we talk, lady was getting the luv, Tim had moved on, but this place is super nice, they were at Overland Park beer festival and it was good to see them, if you haven’t been, your missing out, ran in some untapped friends

Our first visit was a couple of years ago. We didn't love the beer, but the food, atmosphere, and service were great. We've been wanting to give them another try, so about 4 weeks ago, we went back and couldn't even get served. There were two people working behind the bar, it wasn't packed, we waited and waited for them to acknowledge us, but they were too busy chatting with the customers that were clearly regulars. There was another couple at a table next to us that seemed to be having the same problem. The husband went up to the bar and was completely ignored. I'm not sure how long they waited but we left after about 10 minutes. It's a shame because that area really needs some nice places for people to hang out.

The beer was mediocre at best but not as bad as the bartender. He asked if I wanted to open a tab and I had to say no 4 times. He just kept asking and trying to force me to open one. I go back again to give them another chance and the same bartender would not stop asking if I wanted to open a tab. I should only have to say no once. It finally got to the point of me yelling no for him to stop. That’s very poor customer service and so very rude. Bad beer is one thing. That bad of service is even worse.

Great small micro brewery... 4 standard brews and 6 rotating brews.
Great staff...great prices on 8oz and 16oz drafts or buy a Crowler to go.

Friendly staff, sampled a beer which was really good. The Chive Cafe is inside here and is a farm to table restaurant. The bacon wrapped dates are really good!! Don't spend the extra money to add bacon to cheese trio sandwich, you won't taste the bacon. Meatball sandwich is delicious but there is lots of bread. The ratio meatball to bread is off. Great potential and they have some great activities to bring people in. Come give them a try
