Open for lunch this Friday so we stopped in. We were the only customers, no ribs, brisket was a couple days old and dry, the pulled pork was also a couple days old and dry. The fried potatoe salad was OK. Waitress was OK. I'll support any fellow law enforcement, but I won't be back here for food.

I don't know that we will eat here again. Overview says they are family friendly, great place for kids and they even have a kids menu... however we were NOT expecting there to be smoking present while we are with my infant and other children. Only booths that were available are by the bar where smoking is present (2 booths total for my mother who is also handicapped and cannot sit in a high rise chair) so we were planning to leave but there was nothing else open close by after a long day. We decide to stay because my infant is ready to eat and lay down. The waitress was VERY nice though! We opted to sit outside after being told there was an outside area. However this is 730 pm in mid June.... we were SWARMED with bugs while waiting for our food and had to get to go boxes for all our food. I would say unless your okay with cigarette smoke being breathed in while you're eating or are okay with your children breathing it in, this is NOT somewhere for your children to eat with you as a family. Very upsetting. I was really looking forward to eating here and having the whole experience. 😕 however the food was AMAZING. I got the brisket sandwich and slaw and it was great. My 7 year olds burger was not so great though....Since we left because of the bugs, he went to eat it at the place we were staying and as soon as he was 2 bites in, it was pretty pink... like red. It sucks because the waitress was so nice and my food was great but again not a great place for the kiddos. 😔 I did get my money back for the burger though.

Party of 4 ordered the ribs...horrible! Tasted like charcoal lighter and were so tough you couldn't cut them, much less chew them. Obviously not smoked low and slow, as good BBQ needs to be. Asked the cook to cut my wife's ribs...took about 5 minutes to get them back. So, they knew they were bad, as the waitress noticed so much still left on the plate she gave us a discount. Great, but we were still HUNGRY...c'mon 1042...you can do better!!! Don't serve it if it doesnt represent the quality of food you promote. Decent place for drinks and friendly enough service...but sorry, not the food!

Bought 10-42 Bar B Q for a family union dinner. Ribs, potato salad , beans, Mac & cheese. It was all fantastic! Everyone raved about it. Thank you 10-42 Bar B Q!!!

Tried to order wings but was told they were out. No big deal. I then asked for a slab of ribs. Waitress said they were out of those too along with turkey. Last attempt at an order was a pound of brisket and a half pound of pork. 10 min later, waitress said they only had enough brisket for my wife's grilled cheese with brisket. Final ask was for a pound of pulled pork.
Finally, got an order in.
Waitress clocks out after never checking on our empty drinks.
After 45 min, my pound of pork arrives with my wife's side dish, but not her brisket grilled cheese.
Waitress brings a refill and says that the sandwich is almost done.
Almost done? We've now been here an hour and currently waiting on a grilled cheese sandwich.
Grilled cheese arrives. Plastic wrapped american cheese barely melted and the bottom bread was burnt.
All this while discovering weed roaches in the ashtray and a guy asleep at the bar while the tattoo guys next door go in & out with shots and the off clock waitress is saying "F&€k you" to a friend she was hanging out with at the tattoo shop.
Recommend you pass this place up.

Food is just plain bad. I have never had brisket sliced that thin and so dried out. No seasoning whatsoever. Very disappointed. You would think wedged between to great bbq city’s they would have picked something up, but it’s a total miss. The service is good and it’s a cool bar. Don’t eat here though not worth it.

Great food and atmosphere. I had the brisket and and tried both the sweet and spicy sauce, and they were both amazing. 10/10 would recommend. Only thing I think could be better is the fries they are not crispy, the flavor is amazing though. Thats just my preference though.

I've eaten there 4 times and 4 different dishes in the last 6 months. We heard so many great things and as locals we wanted to support a hometown small business but the food is horrible no matter if you go on the weekend or in the middle of the week. My husband ended up feeding his order of ribs to our dogs because it wasn't edible. Service and atmosphere are awesome and will definitely be back for drinks but will never recommend this place for food.
