Smokin Bones BBQ and Sports Bar

New place, unorganized, definitely not Kansas City barbecue. I will start off with the looks. There is no ambience, not much decoration, and not creative. Small menu. The staff didn't look like they know what to do. I ordered Ribs( which tells me if the overall food is good or not), and those ribs are probably the worst I have ever tasted. They weren't tender, so tough, and it was extremely hard to get the meat off the bone without getting it in your teeth. Had to eat burnt ends instead and they were okay.

We hadn't eaten at Smokin Bones since it opened last year-it was delicious Thursday evening with nice lean meat and the sides were nice size d.

Food from the menu is very good; had the Sunday Buffet once; don't recommend it. Not much variety; food was not hot and except for the chicken, was not worth the price. Always have excellent service. Will go back and order off the menu; fries are excellent!!

Good food for the Westside of the lake. My only gripe is $3.00 for a softdrink.

Went in at 6pm and there was no one at all on the resturant side. Walked around, couldn't find anyone. Waited 10 min. Saw staff on the lounge side, they never addressed nor acknowledged I was there. This place obviously doesnt care about you if you're not there to smoke and drink beer in the lounge. Chances' R I'll not be back. Which sucks because I just moved here from out of state and they are a mile from home.

Waitress was quickly at our table.food was good the prices were right. The music in lounge was a little to loud other then that it was a nice evening out.

The pork loin sandwhich was amazing! It was a slow afternoon but the staff we was very nice.

Went today for Mother's Day meal. HORRIBLE !!! Worst BBQ ever. I have Had BBQ from Kansas City to St.Louis to Memphis. There were 3 adults and a child in our group. Waited for ever with 2 other customers. Slaw was awful, BBQ beans smoky and nasty, child's grilled cheese was warm bread and half melted cheese. Staff was friendly and acted like it was their first day (it was NOT). Save your time and money, DO NOT EAT HERE !

Ate here for the first time tonight. Service and food were excellent! Had the pork tenderloin sandwich special. Best I've ever had! Nice size tenderloin, great batter (not heavily breaded), and priced right (6.99). Service was fast and the waitress checked with us appropriately. Very concerned that it was nearly deserted due to past poor management. Hope they do well. Will be back.

The hickory smoked wings were amazing and the French dip sandwich was to die for. Will come back for dinner tonight😁. Service was fantastic also.

Food and the service were great. Definitely will eat here again.
