Went to an event here in the upstairs ball room. Really a neat old place with a lot of period decor.The Intermission Cafe has been closed but the owner said he hoped to have it back open very soon.I can't rate the food but the entire place looked very clean, the atmosphere was friendly and I enjoyed the conversation with the owner.
It is so nice to find a lovely restaurant in this lovely setting. It is clear that this is a labor of love! The food is good, and the opera house tour is a must! Don't miss the art gallery comprised of the works of local artists! This is a hidden gem for sure!
Outstanding food, service and we were treated to a personal tour of the entire venue by one of the elder partners. His passion for the buildings history, love of the arts and his overall area knowledge was inspiring. What a grand and unexpected treat that completed our first viist and experience. We'll be back!
