You have to be a little bit selective on what you order. For instance, the double That burger is very, very good, but it's little cousin, the single That is disappointing and quite small. It seems portion sizes have decreased overall. The bacon chicken ranch sandwich is very small, the pork tenderloin is small. The chicken tender basket seems smaller than before. Ice cream amounts are laughable for the prices. We do love the home cut fries and hand breaded onion rings and I'll remember to order the double burger next time!

The food it great, portions are perfect, ice cream awesome! I think the owner has a heart for kids, and this is their 1st job. But.... I wish they would clean. The filth under the tables and along the walls is black, built up from months or years of good kids working their 1st job, but not taught any standards. Its really gross.

Great little spot on the square, we had a banana split and a hot fudge sundae, both were excellent and the prices were very fair. Service was excellent. Will definitely be back!

We really enjoy stopping by That Place after the kids’ softball games. It’s become a little tradition for us! They offer a free scoop of ice cream to any kids wearing a sports uniform, which is such a thoughtful touch and really appreciated by families. The ice cream is always tasty and hits the spot.
The shop itself could use a little TLC—some fresh paint and minor updates would really brighten it up—but the friendly atmosphere and the way they support local kids makes it a great spot in town. We’ll definitely keep coming back!

Super impressed with this place. If you're in the area you should eat here. It's an old soda shop themed restaurant, so don't expect Michelin quality, but dang if I didn't want to try every item on their menu. It's as if you picked the specialty sandwich/sides/ice cream and a comparable if not lower price from every other place and rolled them all into one shop. That's not even to speak on that the owner, who was also on the grill, came up to my family for a simple greet, hello, what did you guys do today friendly little conversation that made us feel like we were part of the town. Couldn't speak higher of the place. Going to go to the local beaches again next weekend just to eat here.
My family will come eat here anytime we are in the area. I love the food, the service, and the restaurant is so cute! The prices cannot be beat either.🩵
