We really enjoy stopping by That Place after the kids’ softball games. It’s become a little tradition for us! They offer a free scoop of ice cream to any kids wearing a sports uniform, which is such a thoughtful touch and really appreciated by families. The ice cream is always tasty and hits the spot.
The shop itself could use a little TLC—some fresh paint and minor updates would really brighten it up—but the friendly atmosphere and the way they support local kids makes it a great spot in town. We’ll definitely keep coming back!

Super impressed with this place. If you're in the area you should eat here. It's an old soda shop themed restaurant, so don't expect Michelin quality, but dang if I didn't want to try every item on their menu. It's as if you picked the specialty sandwich/sides/ice cream and a comparable if not lower price from every other place and rolled them all into one shop. That's not even to speak on that the owner, who was also on the grill, came up to my family for a simple greet, hello, what did you guys do today friendly little conversation that made us feel like we were part of the town. Couldn't speak higher of the place. Going to go to the local beaches again next weekend just to eat here.

We have eaten here three times and have always been pleased. Two different burgers and the Friday night chicken fried chicken. I think that is what it is called. But irregardless, it was incredible. Real mashed potatoes. Excellent gravy. And wonderful service. Really enjoy our visits. My wife thinks the onion rings alone are worth the 30 mile journey. A definite place to visit if you appreciate small town family diners. And definitely order the onion rings.

If you can handle spicy, go for the Bailey's Sipcy Chicken Sandwich! Hand breaded in a perfectly spicy blend of seasonings, and the topped with Swish Cheese, Ranch Dressing, grilled onions and Al Dente bell peppers...all served ontwo thick slices of bread. Traditional buns available, upon request. Great vibe, great food...amazing ice cream! Do yourself a favor and check them out!

I'm a regular at That Place. My friend and I went there for lunch today. The restaurant was slammed (no empty tables except for a couple seats in the back). Adam wasn't there for some reason. They had one young lady cooking and one waitress.
The service the waitress gave everyone around us was outstanding, and the "cook (?)" worked it like no tomorrow.
I bring family members, friends, coworkers, people visiting from out of town to That Place. They love it and ask to go back when they are in Greenfield, especially for those onion strings. None of us have ever had a bad experience with staff or the food. ❤️
