The food here is reallgood. I was on a route and stopped in, the service was great and the That Place Double was one of the best smash burgers I have ever had for a small business alsothe oninn ring and wafflefrieswete damn good too. It's down by the square, could use a remodel, but that's why you people need to give them good business!!!
You have to be a little bit selective on what you order. For instance, the double That burger is very, very good, but it's little cousin, the single That is disappointing and quite small. It seems portion sizes have decreased overall. The bacon chicken ranch sandwich is very small, the pork tenderloin is small. The chicken tender basket seems smaller than before. Ice cream amounts are laughable for the prices. We do love the home cut fries and hand breaded onion rings...
The food it great, portions are perfect, ice cream awesome! I think the owner has a heart for kids, and this is their 1st job. But.... I wish they would clean. The filth under the tables and along the walls is black, built up from months or years of good kids working their 1st job, but not taught any standards. Its really gross.
