We had a wonderful lunch at Pasta Villa. They had gluten free options for my companion. I had the Tomato Bisque, Turkey Panini and Tiramisu & they were absolutely delicious. This was a pleasant surprise and I will definitely return!Dietary restrictions: Many gluten free options!

This was our second visit to Pasta Villa. Our first trip was a lunch for six which they easily handled. There was not a complaint at the table. This evening, my wife and I enjoyed a wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner together. The food was excellent, the service attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere perfect for the event, very charming. We order two beverages, split a Caesar salad, she had Chicken parmigiana and I the special of the day, steak and shrimp pasta in creamy lemon caper sauce. Both entrees we’re chef prepared and perfect in every way. We finished up with a delightful spumoni. What a gem this little restaurant is, definitely my favorite within driving distance from Chillicothe.

Gluten Free Bruschetta bread tasted stale and was very soggy from the topping. The flavor was not good. The Fettucine Alfredo tasted like the ingredients came from a jar and the noodles were overcooked. The Deserts were good.

My mother In Law and I went to Pasta Villa for lunch today after some shopping. We were very excited to go and give them a try. The waitress didn’t know the soup of the day, didn’t know the dessert of the day (mind you it’s Thursday), we continually had to ask to have our drinks refilled. After asking what soups were available, being given the choices and saying ‘they all sound so good’- no one- not our waitress or the staff who ended up telling us about the soups mentioned there is a special where you can try them all. Garlic bread was fantastic. Caesar salad was just like a packaged salad off a grocery store shelf. Pasta was lukewarm. Soup was hot but didn’t taste any different than opening a can of soup off of the shelf at home. Prices were lower than Olive Garden but so was the service, taste and quality of the food. I was so bummed. No plans to go back.

My wife and I come here a lot, for supper, and lunch. The service is always great, and the food is always, ALWAYS delicious. There pasta dishes, and bread are SO good. We tried this thing the other night called a Soup Flight, which I've never seen before. It's a sampling of all of their delicious soups, which is a GREAT idea, because I always go for the chicken and rice, or tomato bisque, and because I got the flight, I realized that their vegetable noodle soup is my FAVORITE! My wife always gets the lasagna, which I've had too, and it's really, really good. If you're in town for quilting, or just passing through, you would do your belly well to stop by. Oh! Their deserts are yummers too, and they just started doing Pizza!

Don't let my review dissuade you from trying this cute little restaurant. I will preface that this was my first time going there, so it's entirely possible this was not the establishment's normal. So, here we go: I had the Tour of Hamilton which consists of J.C. Penne (penne pasta w/ sausage, red sauce and mozzarella), lasagna and fettuccine Alfredo. The sausage had a sweet flavor to it and was almost spongy, like it was boiled in sugar water. Not spicy like a typical Italian sausage. The lasagna tasted ok. The red sauce was, in my opinion, just like on the penne. Which would be fine if it complimented both types of pasta, but it really didn't. It was just there. The alfredo was more buttery than creamy cheesy. My piece of garlic bread tastes like a burnt marshmallow. Not sure how one accomplishes such a feat with garlic bread, but it happened. My son got a full order J.C. Penne. He thought the sausage was oddly flavored as well. However , he likes his garlic bread. The overall menu is small, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, just make sure what you serve is absolutely stellar, which, for me, it was not. There is nothing I tried that I haven't paid for or made for myself that was better. My boy had a slice of cheesecake w/ strawberry glaze. He said the cake part was ok, but the berries were sour. Not much worse than sour strawberries on your cheesecake. Which is reason enough to not contaminate cheesecake by adding toppings of any variety. Have cheesecake the way God intended: Naked. I got a canolli to go, so I shall not speak to that. Appearance wise, it looks really good. I'll try it again, but not anytime soon. Again, it's entirely possible the cook(s) were new, trying a new recipe or just having an off night. I'm by no means disappointed, but I was expecting better. Especially given the prices commanded. The staff, while attentive, were slow, if that makes sense. Basically they were quick to ask if we needed anything, but were slow in the return. Except with my change from the bill. Some people like that. To me, it felt more like Hurry up tip me and leave. Perhaps I'm reading too much into it, but you can't be picky-choosey with what you're going to be efficient at while in the service industry. Cheers!

We were camping in Hamilton while visiting all the shops of Missouri Star Quilt Company. A couple local residents recommended Pasta Villa (and the Hamilton Bowl which I also reviewed). We were there for lunch around 1:30. Really cool atmosphere. We were greeted by staff and immediately seated. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We had lunch menu items. First we started with the bruschetta appetizer which is amazing!! I had Fettuccini Alfredo and my husband had spaghetti with meatballs. Ample portions. Service was prompt and food hot and smelled and tasted awesome! Definitely recommended! They also do carry out and will deliver to local brewery!

Excellent new restaurant in Hamilton for home style Italian food! We tried Italian salad, eggplant parmesan with spaghetti, and the “tour of Hamilton”, which was an excellent trio of lasagna, penne with chicken & rose sauce, and fettuccine Alfredo. For dessert - great cannoli that can hold their weight to NY cannoli. And real spumoni ice cream - so hard to find!Limited wine menu, which is the only suggested improvement. The atmosphere was very nice and service was excellent also. Attentive owners and staff. Will definitely return the next time we’re near Hamilton!Parking: Parking along street and the side of the restaurant. Also an easy walk from main street parking lots and from nearby Airbnbs.
