Best bakery in Kansas City, hands down. The souffle and Bienenstich in particular were absolutely incredible and baked impeccably. The owner is so lovely and clearly immensely talented. Bona Fide Bakery is such a gem!

The best bakery I've ever been to. The owner is so so nice and the food and baked goods are all delicious and fresh. The gingerbread cake is so amazing it's mouth watering. I don't even like peppermint but the peppermint Christmas log cake is to die for!!!! I don't know how she makes the cream so delicious but she's amazing at what she does!

The reason to come here is the pastries!! But you'll also be in a quaint shop off the historic Harrisonville square! If you don't live in Harrisonville it's worth the trip!

Bona Fide Bakery & Cafe is such a special gem on our square! Stephanie and her staff are always accommodating and kind and friendly every time I visit, and the bakery is inviting and lovely. Today Stephanie went above and beyond to get me something I needed for a special gift--something she didn't have to do but she did. I'm forever a loyal customer. :)

I went there for the first time today and they were out of the peach danishes so they offered me the cherry. O....M....G....you will not be disappointed. That cherry danish was so good. I can't imagine what the rest of the pastries taste like. I also got a cake roll and I'm sure that will be just as amazing. I definitely will be back for more.

Best cinnamon rolls I've ever had.

Note: It is off the beaten path on the historic square. As you head into the square it will be on the right just before you get to the corner. This is a small local European style bakery. The sweets are not like American style bakeries. They are sweet, but you can taste the spices, fruits and nuts.and berries without going inro a sugar coma. My wife got an assortment, the brownie had a deep rich chocolate flavor, she would not share. I almost lost a limb reaching for the last bite.. I got the Bee Sting and the honey creme, cake and nut were worth the trip. It was decadent and Fantastic. I did not share either so it all worked out. We still have the strawberry roll and Cinnamon roll for tonight. We will definitely go back for more.

The owner is very friendly and fun to chat with. The upstairs sitting area/kids hangout is charming. I LOVED the cinnamon roll and souffle. I pick here over Panera any time.

GLUTEN FREE muffins that were amazing! Pumpkin, blueberry & lemon were the GF muffins we chose! They were great w our coffee from Brickhouse on the morning of getting ready for the wedding @ the Beck Event! Thank you for welcoming us to the area!

I went in on Wednesday the first day open of the week I believe and they didn't have much to pick from. And it was very expensive. $2 for 1 cookie.☹️ What they did have was to high for me.

There's no other place to go for your goodies besides here. All her treats are amazing! My personal favorite is the Cherry Danish and Strawberry cake roll. My sister loves the Bee Sting cake. You've got to stop by. It'll be your favorite place too!
