Really disappointing food. Thought this was close enough to Kansas City that it would be good. Ordered the special burnt ends beef and ham. A chunk of fatty brisket is not a burnt end. As bad as the burnt ends were, the ham was worse. Tough and fatty with no smoky flavor. French fries

Love their beans, coleslaw, and I always enjoy their brisket!UPDATE!Recently they completely renovated and updated the entire establishment. They purchased neighboring buildings to expand to a larger space. The atmosphere is very classy. It is beautiful!

Don't get the brisket it was not good,beans we're to smokey, mushrooms were the only good thing. Service is lacking, waited over ten minutes for beer and had to flag waitress down for it. Dinner rush was over so expected better service and better food for 80 for two people.

We have eaten in and done takeout. They have amazing service they are very accommodating with a wheelchair and opening the door. And getting the seating we need for group size. Food is Great and good choices.

I finally went to this place after living in Harrisonville almost 3 years. To be quite honest I didn't like the food. I like cow flesh simply cooked to a specific temperature. Superficial flavoring should be left to the diner. If I wanted meat that tasted like a conglomeration of spices I would make it myself and only for me while my family got the simply cooked steaks to season themselves at the table. The meat here had a texture like meat that has been treated with baking soda and I paid far too much for food I didn't eat that now sits in my refrigerator waiting to be thrown out in a couple days.The atmosphere here left much to be desired. The place feels like a cafeteria. It is a big, single, open room with no partitions of any kind between tables. I like more private and cozy restaurants with low level incandescent lighting barely bright enough to read the menu. For me this place was all wrong.2 stars overall. You may like it. I am a picky eater and even more picky about where I want to sit and eat. I won't be doing it here again any time soon.

Branding Iron catered at my place of work today and I must say, wow!! The pulled pork, brisket and bbq sauce was top notch! They should really teach other companies how to make sweet tea because it was the best I've had, that wasn't homemade, ever and I'm from the south. Thanks! I'll be back, even only for the sweet tea!
We eat here quite a bit. From time to time we order it to go. It seems like every time we get our food to go there is an issue. We ordered a 6 piece catfish dinner and we get a small container of tarter sauce. Really come on! We order the burnt end dinner and 9 times out of 10 we have to return it because it looks like the meat has been sitting around under the heat lamps. We shouldn't have to always have to go in and sit down to make sure our food is right. You need to do better.
