Couldn't give lower for food so they got 1 star.
Didn't deserve the 1 star !!!

Couldn’t hear over the intercom. So much buzzing from machine.

We bought 2 meals! Ridiculous price! Why? Because we got home after fun and long date out! We were ready to eat…The 2pc chicken was about 2inches in size! Overly cooked so much there wasn’t. anything to meat. Hard as rock! Fries tasted like grease!l The fish I gave to my husband cuz I don’t eat fish.

He had fish chicken and shrimp. They both were same size and sooo overcooked! The fish was overcooked so it tasted like old grease! He tried couple bites. But was too greasy and had no taste of fish. We threw all the chicken and fish fries away!! He said shrimp was way over cooked as well! But he picked off outside ate little that was left. (He was starving). We had a hard time telling which was chicken and shrimp! That’s how small chicken was and even fried where it curled up. Ya talk about pathetic. We bought 6 extra fritters. Fried so much you couldn’t eat outside. Picked a lil bit out after you opened it !

This was worst meal. Especially after I suggested it when my husband wanted Culver’s! So it will be Culver’s from now on.

This was worst food ever. No we did not go back to store. We had been out all day wanted to go home. That was such a waste of our money! Fried so bad couldn’t even give inside of it to our pigs! But all went to trash! Horrible and waste of money!

Someone does not know how to cook!
Get a new order machine that’s so ridiculous!

Absolutely took forever, it’s 3pm on a Sunday, many workers, only 2 other people here getting food. I waited 20 minutes and my food is lacking any taste or heat. Not to mention it was 8 dollars for 4 chicken tenders

$50 for mediocre food, disgusting tables and seats, non functional bathrooms, and poor service. Never coming here again, I could name a plethora of places where the food is worth $50 but this Popeyes rip-off is incredibly not worth it. Also discover a peep-hole on the women's restroom door, so beware if you need to use that bathroom.

I wouldn't waste your money they gave us a small side of fries for a family meal didn't give us all the hush puppies that were supposed to come with it the smallest container they have for cole slaw but charged 6 dollars for it and gave us 10 prices of ocra for a family meal

The battered fish was not as good as it used to be. Our fish was overcooked. The hush puppies were good as well as the coleslaw.

Pulled up to the drive through and a young male voice said “I’ll be with you in a minute “ . Two minutes later the voice said “it’ll be just one more minute “. Two minutes later he finally took my order. I then pulled up to the window and saw that there was hardly anyone in there eating. Three young high school aged boys were happily eating Captn D’s food. As I was waiting to pay, no one came to the window. After waiting a while, I looked and noticed a boy standing at the window not saying anything. Paid and continued to wait for my order. At least 15 minutes later I got my food. The didn’t say anything… like thank you or anything. Pathetic!!!!

TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!! $28 for the blandest food! Got 2 samplers 🤢 the broccoli and green beans tasted like they were just put in the containers! No seasoming just blah! The fish didn’t seem to be cooked all the way the only decent thing was the fried shrimp

We had a late lunch and door dashed food from captain d's. The food was hot but the fish portions were like the size of fish sticks the chicken strips were missing and the broccoli was burned. How does that happen. I for one will not be returning to this restaurant again. For the price and portion sizes I would strongly suggest going elsewhere.

We have visited the Harrisonville, MO. store several times the past 4 years and it has steadily gone down hill. The food was good, but the maintenance of this store and parking lot has been greatly neglected. We frequented Captain D's in Belleville, IL. very often the past 25 years until we moved to MO. recently, so we are very familiar with this food chain. This evening's visit (Jan. 21st, 2024) was the absolute worst! We ordered 3 separate 3-piece fish dinners along with 20 pieces of butterfly shrimp. We eat inside in the lobby since we live an hour away and only stop here on our way through to or from Kansas City. Today it was absolutely freezing inside!! The staff told us the heat had been out all week. When we asked why the owner didn't have space heaters in the store, we were told there 2 heaters there, but 1 disappeared and they thought the other may have been put in the office. WHAT?! That is poor management! You have a business with customers who are so cold that they shiver bundled up in coats. Not only that, but the employees (with coats on) are forced to work in conditions that are not healthy for them either. The temperatures outside have been in the single digits & teens this week. NOW, the fish! The fish has been cut smaller than normal and the quality of the fish is far less than it should be. THAT was a huge disappointment, and the shrimp were smaller than normal as well. The coleslaw was great tho!
If the owner of this business doesn't do something to improve this property, the quality of the food and use common sense in keeping their customers & staff safe & warm in dangerous temperatures, this business will have no future. It's pretty sad. Corporate needs to inspect this location.

Very small portions for my sides, only around a dozen okra, not enough Kracklins to even cover the bottom of the small box and everything, EVERYTHING was dripping with grease! This napkin is full of grease from just setting the fish on it for my 10 min drive home…not to mention the burnt bits of stuff all over my food…Sadly, this is not the first time it’s been like this, but it will be the last.
